Yes, and they have a voltage divider to create an artificial ground to reverse the polarity across the LEDs. Its a power butner though using two 100 ohm resistors in series across the power rails. At 5 volts of dupply, the divider will waste 125mW continuously that isn't making light.

you don't know that about the HIGH & LOW signals on the flip-flop of the system. if the yellow led gets the + & - right it will be on, while the red led will be off (because the legs are installed upside down). and vice versa if the red led gets the + & - right it will be on, while the yellow led will be off (because the legs are installed upside down).

Because it's impossible for more than 2 state by just 2 wire, unless each LED is programmed.

А можно меньшей ёмкости кондей влепить, выход не на светодиоды а на мосфеты, а через мосфеты постоянный ток от АКБ 12в и будет получается что-то вроде бесперебойника?
