I can't even with those old bedspreads that have heaven knows what on them. I just always push to the end of the bed. Anxious to see what the Reno looks like.

Eewww,hair in the sink and ants and the sheets on the bed. Beautiful views and big beds! Looks like y'all were having fun in the pool. That being bad memories of when we was going to California we stopped at a hotel and the beds were never changed in the room and we left and went somewhere else

We stayed there for years and then the ownership changed housekeeping is now a major issue. The last time we stayed there they just changed ownership. They lost our reservations which luckily I had a copy. Then the price tripled the original price which they charged us and would only refund the difference after we checked out. We will never stay there again and it's a shame because it is such a wonderful location. Thanks for all you do

We stayed there in a pinch after our experience with the other hotel, really outdated but our room was clean. we were in the building that the office is attached to. I have a reservation for next Wednesday to stay in the new renovated building, I will update you on the new rooms. Thank you for all your reviews.

@@SmokyMountainFamily Good morning, as you know we reserved the two king suite with jacuzzi in the room. The day we were leaving the hotel called me to tell me that they are putting me in another room for the night because the current guests were leaving the next day. (I reserved a month in advance) This couple booked a few days before they came so it was a inconvenience for me. I said we would be there later as it is a 7 hour drive for me and I did not get off work until 3. They called me a couple more times on my way there and every time I talked with them I would ask them if our room was in the newly remolded building? They told me yes no worries. We finally got there and we ended up in a one king bed which was fine because it was just my cousin and I. We did not get the new building because it was still under renovation. We did move to our room the next day. I really can not say anything about the service because everyone was super nice and helpful. I will upload my video later this week.

We really appreciate these reviews Brittany and Eric. Helps us decide where to stay when visiting.

🤢 that pool!! I think that was all dead skin! There is such a thing as a pool vacuum LaConte!! Jeez I'm so disappointed in that place. We've passed that place up many times... So glad we did. I'm glad y'all didn't get sick.

We honeymooned there in 1998 looks like it hasn’t changed much. Thankful for the renovation because we haven’t stayed there since.

I think we will pass as well! No bugs allowed and has to pass “White” glove inspection! 😂 Great review guys!

We haven’t stayed there in years because they weren’t pet friendly, I have a chihuahua on seizure meds But they must have changed their minds Hope to stay with them again We behave stayed in every building but C

Thanks for the honest Review. Hopefully they improve on the Housekeeping when the remodeling is complete. A great location with a lot of history, it's a shame to see it in that condition.

Yikes. The only ‘upgrades’ to this place would be a full demo. This room looks like it was filmed in 1986.

Sorry I couldn’t sleep there. I’d have to check out. If it got nicer with Reno then maybe depends on cleanliness. Parking is not a view I’d want. Thanks guys

I've stayed at the Leconte View motel many, many years ago and the look of the old rooms is about what they where back then. When we were kids we would stay at the Riverside motel every year but it got so run down over time as well. Now there is a parking lot where it once was. I was sad to see it go instead of being referbished like so many of the old motels on the parkway have been.

We stayed here a few years ago and had to check out early because the bed was so bad. I couldn't walk the next day. They don't get a second chance.

Stayed in the building with the office like 8 to 10 years ago maybe littler longer then that and wasn’t pleased with it then.

This might sound extreme but the very first thing I do upon arriving at a hotel is turn on all the lights, make a video of the room, then check the beds for clean sheets or bed bug possibility. I bring in only one bag that consist of my own hair dryer, extension cord, 2k lumen light and I apply heat behind the headboards and watch closely for bed bugs to run out. Thankfully I’ve not had the issue, but I know ppl that have and it has cost them in more ways then $$ … first thing tho, if it says motel, motor lodge or something cheap in the name I don’t bother to start with. Pls be careful and thanks so much for the reviews you make and share with all of us

Awesome job on your review…. It really shocked me that you guys stayed there. I don’t think I could’ve laid my head down in that bed. But hopefully they will put some work in it and it will be all different when they get done with the renovation. Thanks for sharing and I’m glad at least the girls had a good time swimming.

I'll be at the Riverhouse at the Park Thursday night, and will be there until Sunday. If ya'll are in the area, and aren't busy, text me. We can meet up for breakfast one morning, or go play some minuture golf one evening, and maybe grab some dinner. Peace out homies.

Maybe after the renovation is done this will be better. But if take care of even an old motel is great place to stay. I will pass for now.

You mentioned doing another Riverhouse video near the end of this video.... Do it! I would really like to see a newer video... I might just be staying there in September.

Good honest review. Why are hotels still skimping on breakfast? Just that would make me never stay there.

Hopefully you guys didn't stay in that room because I seen a bunch of ants near the microwave. It was funny how Keegan was dancing in the background lol. That is so nasty the pool looks like somebody puked in it, and you can tell the housekeepers didn't clean that room if you found hairs in the sink from shaving. Hopefully someone bought this that actually cares about the hotel to make sure they bring in the proper people to retrain these housekeepers. Any time we stay at any hotel in the country my wife is always the first one in to check everything over, because she used to be a housekeeper supervisor at the Marriott. My daughter said she loves Keegan's hair it's beautiful on her. You guys were very honest I would have rated it a 4 or 5 as well. We need an update to see what it looks like. Britney is absolutely right housekeeping needs a complete overhaul. Most hotel and motel owners all they care about is the money and nothing else. They need to hire someone to come in and take complete charge in control, and reteach these individuals on what's except-able and what's not.

I always got a grungy vibe from that place so we never stayed there. Looks like I was right. I don't mind dated, but bugs and mold...so much nope.

What about those bugs crawling in the bathroom from the very start? No!

I was watching as you were filming in the beginning And there was all kinds of bugs by the microwave. And they were moving pretty fast. I hope for your sake there not roaches

OMG. Not worthy of $124.00. Bugs everywhere, hole in the wall, mold. Never showed the inside of the microwave or refrigerator. That place is a mess. Nope for us.
