I just don't see how you can call yourself a basketball fan and not appreciate Bron's game. Hell I didn't like Kobe in the early 2000s but I respected the hell out of his game.

I can’t respect a player that team hops with the best players, flops, lies about his hardships, lacks humility to his peers, and throws his teammates under the bus. He’s a great player. But he doesn’t deserve respect with these flaws as a competitor.

Thank you, from a kid from Painesville. Got to see LeBron my 8th grade year when he was a senior, and many more times with the Cavs. Blessed to be just another witness.
MJ used to be my Goat but if you look at lebron’s career. - what he was able to achieve with a front office that held him back by mishandling boozer and not trading JJ hickson for bosh amongst other bozo moves - failed in 2011 Dallas games but bounced back and won a chip in each city he has played for - joined Lakers while Lakers were a lottery team and delivered a championship - is the top scorer of all time as a pass first player - has improved remarkably from 3 this season (shooting above 40%) Bear in mind that he has had to face the most pressure than any player ever. Has achieved this amount of excellence this far and this consistently in his career. Any other sport this sort of career would be the goat. But people tend to highlight Jordan’s 6 championships 2 3peats as MJs sole argument. In my opinion, Jordan had a higher peak, but Lebron is the goat due to what he has done for the sport and what he has accomplished holistically.

I think MJ is one of the most skilled ever. But skill and basketball IQ are different. He had to rely of Phil Jackson for that part. Even Lebron discussed how Spoelstra was the one who found a solution to the Heat winning rings. Phil Jackson and his coaching staff won another 3 peat without Jordan. That says quite a lot. Now IQ is great as a player but you wont be Jordan if that’s all you have. You’ll probably be like Rondo and Kerr who were not scrubs but not at the top of the pyramid either. Might probably be a legendary coach day though like Kerr
