His tell is when he wipes his hand on his jersey; when he does that, he's 100% going into his stepback

Nobody wants to learn a move from LeBron fkin’ James who has no natural bag. Lol. No handles, bad shot form, step back isn’t even his move. So many better players to learn each move from.

In most sports, simple moves are the most effective. This is why the old guy at the gym/park is still able to score on guys half his age.

He was actually using that move in highschool and also hit a game winner on the Warriors in 2013 on the left wing. But we didn't know back then that this move would evolve into the unstoppable LeFuck you three, where he first catches sweat off his jersey for better grip, then instead of doing the between the legs, he looks at the ball as he gathers with the right hand while planting his right leg just like crooked leg used to do and proceeds to do a long step back where he goes for a shot leaned back and usually when he leans back he don't miss, that was the case even back in highschool and then in the NBA most of his game winners were him exaggerating the lean back.

He doesn't need to create that much separation though..... LeBron is the greatest driver of the basketball of all time. He's pretty much a freight train when going to the rim. So defenders already won't play him that tight because they ate terrified of his drive. So he step back doesn't have to be that excessive because he already has a lot of space to work with in the first place.
