Without saying anything bad about LeBron, here’s what you younger guys don’t understand about Jordan and what I think a lot of people are trying to convey when they dismiss LeBron. When Jordan was in his prime games were basically over before they started, especially any big game. Everybody knew that Mike was going to win. Fans on both sides, players, everybody. After the Jordan rules failed the only other strategy that anyone could think of for him was literally “don’t piss him off”. He was an absolute killer. Nobody before or since has been on his level as a competitor. You don’t fully understand that part unless you experienced it.

Let’s make it clear. I’m not a MJ fan. I’m a basketball fan. And it’s very disrespectful to the game when you decide on a goat simply because you like one player better than the other. Mike was an absolute jerk and I literally couldn’t stand him. However for the sake of the game I have to be honest and admit that he is the goat.

I don't understand how LBJ passing Kareem could make him the GOAT. Very few ppl have even bothered trying to argue that kareem was the goat since the mid 90s, he was still the points leader then and he was the points leader 15 years ago and MJ was still the goat. Lebron passing Kareem doesn't really change that.

So longevity is expected and more obtainable under those conditions.

So, Cavs fan here - LeBron James helped bring us our only championship and I will forever be grateful for his contributions toward that amazing feat. He is an incredibly talented player that deserves to be talked about as one of the greatest to ever play the game. HOWEVER, there is no comparison whatsoever here. Michael Jordan, hands down, is the greatest to ever play the game. Think about it this way: Michael Jordan, if he had been born later and played in this era of basketball, would dominate the NBA still. He won not only multiple scoring titles and MVP awards, but also won the defensive player of the year award. He NEVER lost in the finals. There was no give-up in him. LeBron has shown several times throughout his career that, if the going gets tough, either give up or load up with other really great basketball talent. Even when he did that and played with Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh in Miami and Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love in Cleveland, he still lost more championships than he won. Yes, LeBron may have a statistical advantage over MJ, but he's played 5 seasons more than MJ and came right out of high school whereas MJ went to college at North Carolina, where he won a championship. LBJ may have the stats advantage, but MJ had that will to win that the LeBrons and Durants lack. When the going got tough, Jordan got tougher. When the going got tough for LeBron and Durant, they joined super teams. Jordan also went undefeated in NBA Finals series in a much more physical NBA era where LeBron has a losing record in the Finals in a much softer era. Sorry, bud. Michael Jordan is far superior to LeBron James and it's not even close. I also disagree with your take on LeBron James being better than Kobe. Kobe is the closest thing we've seen to MJ, although I still give MJ quite the edge over Kobe. However, Kobe easily is better than LeBron because he, too, had that killer instinct that LeBron has lacked since the first day he set foot on an NBA court. Give me MJ or Kobe over LeBron or Durant any day of the week.

LeBron is without a doubt one of the greatest of all time. I have watched him from the start of his career until now. I have also watched Mike through the 90s and it is tough to make a comparison. They play different positions and with completely different rule sets and play styles. The reason I could never take it from Mike is because when this man stepped on the court, his mind set, skill set and pure determination will never be matched.

Did you know Jordan made more 3-pointers than the entire Blazers team in the 1992 Finals while shooting 43% from there? Tell me anyone in NBA history that did that. As a basketball fan who watched both men play, LeBron was the greatest player in the NBA for part of his career. He shared that title with Kobe and Tim Duncan earlier in his career, and shared it later with KD, Steph Curry, and Giannis. Michael Jordan was the greatest player in the NBA for most of his career and those in his era acknowledged without doubt who the best player was. Michael Jordan won more championships in a shorter time span, in a much more physical era that allowed hand checking and fouling that would be considered flagrant today. LeBron has taken longer to win less championships, in a less physical offensive friendly league. He also did so with the luxury of going to super teams and playing with numerous all-stars throughout his career. If you do the research, you will find that LeBron has had more top 75 players and all stars throughout his championship runs per team than Michael Jordan. Yet he only won 40% of the time. Jordan won 100% of his championship appearances and his individual numbers actually went up during the Finals. During the video you said LeBron is a better 3 point shooter and would beat Jordan in a one-on-one game, but I disagree. Jordan attempted 1.7 3 point shot’s per game throughout his career. And in doing so he averaged just over 32%. LeBron on the other hand takes 4.2 attempts per game and is only 2% better than Jordan in that category. Jordan has a quicker first step, a 48 inch vertical, insane layup package, has dunked on more 7 footers than anybody in NBA history, and his mid range game is unstoppable. The man could post up anyone anywhere. I’m trying to present a factual argument that does not discredit either player but highlight the differences between the two careers and their effectiveness as players.

Actually Jordan was good at assists, he was 4th overall for all shooting gaurds. He also played point guard for 24 games and he averaged: 30.4 points, 10.7 assists, 9.2 rebounds, and 2.4 steals. Compare that to Magic Johnson's career averages: 19.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 11.2 assists and 1.9 steals, Meaning Jordan got 2 more rebounds a game, a half a steal more per game, and only a half an assist less with 11 more points per game. Longevity makes Lebron great. Lebron is great. Much respect. Lebron's one of the greats! The points Kareem Abdul Jabbar amassed was incredible but it didn't make him the G.O.A.T. He's considered one of the very best. His name will always be up there and remembered. Lebron accumulating all the points, rebounds, assists, etc., is impressive. Lebron playing at a very high level for a very long time is impressive. But, did he play for a long time because he wanted to accomplish a bunch of stuff or did he play for a long time because he wanted to surpass Michael Jordan? In regards to 1 v 1, you mentioned Lebron's going to the post all the time. But, who really has the best post game? As big and strong Lebron is, he didn't take advantage of this. A simple contest of free throw shooting and I will take MJ all day, every day. People think Lebron's a better 3-point shooter. Lebron just shoots more of it compared to MJ. Lebron's 3-point shooting percentage is not good. MJ's 3-point shooting percentage is not bad, it's not good, it's just average during the time he's playing. Lebron's shooting percentage is only very good if he's VERY close to the basket. I'd take MJ's mid range game over Lebron all day/every day! Jordan averaged very high in points per game and he didn't even take the 3-point shot seriously. Michael Jordan dominated the game/opponents/league by just scoring 2 points at a time and free throws for the most part. JJ Redick choosing Lebron over MJ... It's a generational thing. JJ never experienced playing vs MJ. I'd take the opinion of the players and coaches who actually played vs both Lebron and MJ and/or coached vs Lebron/MJ. Ray Allen chose MJ over Lebron. Ray Allen played vs MJ and Lebron and Ray Allen was a teammates of Lebron. Bill Laimbeer will never side with Michael Jordan. Bill probably hates it every time he's asked about who the G.O.A.T. is. Bill played vs MJ and defeated MJ twice during the playoffs and the Pistons went on to become NBA champs. In your opinion, Lebron is (much) better than Kobe. But, is that the end of it because you don't even want to start that conversation? I'd love to see you make a video of yourself discussing/debating who's greater/better between Kobe and Lebron with a Kobe supporter/fan. Gilbert Arenas' explanation of Lebron not being Kobe/MJ is fine. We all know Lebron's not like Kobe/MJ. However, there are times when Lebron needs to take the shot vs passing it off to a teammate because it makes sense or it's the right play or it looks like the right play. It's another thing that separates the greats from the greats. Lebron has taken shots that are potentially game winners. At times, he's successful. At times, he's failed and was bailed out by other players (Ray Allen comes to mind. Kyrie Irving comes to mind.). And the latest example of Lebron attempting to own or will his team or win the game for his team was vs the Nuggets. He had 2 chances to tie or win the game but failed. kzread.info/dash/bejne/o6CTsJd7ipm5o6g.html (watch the whole thing or just start from 5:00.) Lebron does not have a go to move. Lebron does not have a signature move. Lebron's jumper is not reliable. Lebron cannot get to a spot to make a shot. Lebron's free throw percentage is a weakness. Lebron is difficult to stop if he's going downhill. Sure, Lebron scored 40 points but, in the end, it didn't matter because, the shots he needed to make, he failed to make. Lebron can't retire on that note. MJ passed the ball during games/playoff games. During the series vs the Suns, MJ looked for his teammates. Paxson made the the Suns pay. Paxson also made the Lakers pay during their first championship. During the Utah series, the first one, I believe, MJ passed the ball to Steve Kerr. During the Double Nickel game vs the Knicks in Madison Square Garden. MJ passed the ball to Bill Wennington. But there were many games when MJ just took over and dominated because he does not want to be denied the win/the championship. Lebron's your G.O.A.T.. Lebron's this generation's G.O.A.T.. I am one of many who witnessed/watched the 80's NBA, 90's NBA, 00's NBA, and "Now" NBA. "Now" NBA is the least favorite to watch. Lebron's great. No doubt. But, Lebron's not the G.O.A.T.. Michael Jordan is the 🐐. Thank you, DangerProductions. kzread.info/dash/bejne/pqBnz7RvldKrkZs.html

Lebron is definitely 1 of the greatest, but the reason he has too many haters is because 1, he said too much dumb stuff now and then like self-proclaiming GOAT etc. Most of people doesn't like arrogant players. 2, He's loyalty in a team broke trice, imagine narrow minded hardcore fans of Cavs and Miami (Not all )after he left, they will just never move on regardless of those championships, 3, He's either teaming up or recruiting other superstars, Millions of basketball fans outside USA which doesn't live anywhere near of the team's cities don't like superteams so they are pissed because of that and just start hating. 4, He's a choker, He fake injury, he doesn't have killer instinct, he's not competitive, he quits on his teams/teammates, and winning or losing seems not important to him nowadays, he's more concerned on his individual stats and just want to break records, that's attitude killing the NBA because he's a superstar and younger players will likely mimic it. and 5, He flopped too much for a Bigger, Stronger, Faster superstar, fans don't like b1tches.

However I will note that Pippen needed a good 3-4 years to get going in the NBA, that's why the 1-9 argument "Jordan never made it past the 2nd round without Pippen" doesn't hold weight.

LBJ open 3 is so dangerous he went 1-20 in the conference finals lol I don’t understand why MJs 3 is an argument because it was the only part of his game that was average, not below average but average. That’s LBJ fans argument but LBJ and Shaq have the same free throw percentage. Just hilarious, obviously that’s a bit of a stretch but a horrible free throw shooter and led the league in turnovers again, not to mention all time. He’s not better than Kobe. Kobe would not have got his cookies picked on the final shot to win a game. Most kids never even saw Jordan play. Also the Bulls were sh!t when Jordan got there and they been trying to hit the draft lottery ever since he left. Jordan was the best player and the coach, not Phil Jackson. Phil ran almost everything through MJ. Lebron is not that. Great player yes, up there all time, but him being better than Jordan is laughable, if you got to watch both

Let me say it is I said it once, and I’ll say it again, I am a Lebron and Jordan fan. I don’t know how many people say that, but I’m saying it let’s make that clear first note as far as the three point shooting by numbers, LeBron is the greatest three point shooter then Jordan by numbers, but the one thing about Jordan, is he never cared about shooting threes I’m a say it again MJ never cared about shooting threes. That’s why you don’t see a lot of three point shooting out of MJ. Thank about it and I was in the lead for 15 years. Two of those years he didn’t play a whole season. He only played like 18 to 17 games each out of those two little Seasons. So he really played 13 whole seasons. MJ finished in scoring third of all time all really 13 seasons. Let’s say MJ never retired. LeBron will be breaking MJ‘s record in all time scoring instead of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

MJ fans make him look like something that he's actually not? It was Bird that said "that was God disguised as Jordan." Speaking of Celtics - Jayson Tatum was shaking when he was in Black Jesus' presence. Ben Affleck, who's a huge Boston fan, said "Jordan is as close to a deity you're going to find." Another huge Celtics fan (Matt Damon) said "Jordan was so much bigger than the game." How big? Denzel Washington said that MJ was so famous that once the went out to dinner with him and that he felt like he was working security for Jordan. Zach LaVine said MJ was a myth - the idol of all idols. Kevin Durant said "his skills, his IQ and his athleticism all combined made him a God level player." Shaq said he didn't talk smack to MJ cause "you don't want to mess with God." Kendall Gill once said "Calling out the devil is one thing. Facing him is another." T-Mac said first time he saw MJ in person that MJ had a glow around him. Jamal Crawford said when he first saw MJ in person that he didn't seem real. Like a ghost. Actor Terry Crews said "the most manliest man in the world when Jordan walks in turns into a skirt with 'oh my God.' He was just so phenomenal. He floated." After Barkley first saw MJ play at Olympic trials he said "I just saw something I've never seen in my life before." Magic said MJ is the greatest athlete that played any sport. Hakeem in his autobiography (Living the Dream) said “If he were an animal in the jungle Michael Jordan could lie out on the biggest rock and no one would disturb him, no one would attack him." First time Wilt met MJ at 1997 All-Star weekend he told Ahmad Rashad "Well I just went over to say hello to him and I was like everybody else, in awe.” Tim Hardaway said Jordan has done so much for basketball that when players see him they should bow their heads to him. You see how it's not only fans but hall-of-famers turned legends that grant Black Jesus infinite reverence?

It's ironic, you say you don't hate Jordan, but his fans. However, there were a few times in this video you did the same things you dislike Jordan fans for. Many of the people who said LeBron was better switched back to Jordan. It's hard to take multi year old clips and take them up heart when a lot of things changed. LeBron couldn't take Kobe one on one the majority of the time and he's suddenly going to bully Jordan? C'mon now. Shaq after he said this, said how could he pass Jordan when he hadn't even passed Kobe?! You dog Jordan on his 3's, but has a better career 3pt% than LeBron. LeBron is no doubt a top 5 player ever, but just like I heard someone say Jordan was Thanos with the gauntlet and all the infinity stones. You can dismiss Jordan from the stats, accolades, and more from people that irritate you about Jordan, but the reality is that's just how good he was. He was the best offensive player, best defensive player, he was the best at everything except his 3pt% and he shot on average with the shooters of his time. It's a shame you disregard Jordan, because of the things he did was so otherworldly great.

I saw Jordan and LBJ play in their respected eras and I have to say that LBJ has the greatest career of all time because his peak lasted the longest of any player that has ever played the game. The man came from HS and had ridiculous expectations from the jump and he met those expectations and surpassed them. But Jordan's peak though not as long as LBJ, I feel is much higher cause in his peak, he dominated the game of basketball on and off the court. I also believe that the era Jordan played in were more prideful than today's players. Back then, players were just glad to get paid to play ball and played for bragging rights. These days players prioritize the bag more than pride and bragging rights (except for Ja). Just compare the All-Star games of when Jordan played and when LBJ played. In Jordan's era, All-Star games were just as real as regular season games. Whereas the All-Star games these days are trash. That in itself should tell you how serious those plumbers were in Jordan's era vs todays elite athletes.

Johnson was quite generous saying James made his teammates better, played the game the right way. James needed 20+ seasons jumping from team to team trying to win cheap rings. Flops and plays for fouls/calls, gets carried off the court like a queen, has excuses for poor performances, calls himself the goat etc. Also chokes in finals, won 4, a few were from superteams, lost 6. The GOAT loses 6 finals? With all the HOF's/all stars he had as teammates? Talking of Lebron as GOAT....Jokic only needs another MVP and ring with Nuggets for everyone to forget all about James. And Jordan would wreck James 1v1.

Leswept would not win any ring if he was not teaming up with a winning team in Miami. Just like Duran wouldn’t wini a ring without joining the warriors. Joker just made Leswept looks like a regular player. Jordan never lost in the final so no one can say someone is better then him unlike Lebron got swept many time.
