A family working together on a house makes it a beautiful home filled with love!! Watching the children help out brought me joy, as they are learning that sometimes older (in this case a house) is better than new, and that with a little love and hard work the fruits of their labor is the sweetest reward ever. Beautiful job!

I really enjoyed watching this. I do appreciate this family holding onto as much of the history as possible. I adore the rustic look. The genuine smiles on the children's face at the end was priceless!! It was a look of real happiness.

Astonishing how much building material the land provides. I love these videos.

Once I started watching I was transfixed, These people are artists, everything had to be perfect. I only wish we could have seen more when finished. Thank you for sharing.

That’s the problem. We give up on everything here. We want everything instant, right away, disposable culture. And it extends to people too. We’re so focused on individual success we forget about community and family. We value youth, physical beauty, and the almighty dollar. Nothing else. We don’t value our elderly or anything deemed “old“. Sad.

Well, we know who will survive an apocalypse! This family is so talented to possess basic skills many in our modern societies have forgotten. I have used saplings of an invasive species to make a sturdy and decorative fence around my garden, but I wish bamboo of the size seen here would grow in my region of the US so I could have used that instead. We have some that grow very tall but never get the girth on them as seen here. I noticed that even the chairs that went with the DIY table were handmade and beautiful. It's funny, the older I get the less I need modernly convinced. I only have cold water right now and have gotten by with boiling water every day to wash dishes, take baths, etcetera and after 6 months of doing so, I don't mind anymore. Though, I do miss a warm shower before bed, lol. Anyone else drool over the prawns they were eating?
