Texas is a shit state. The Texans hate new comers. Hot as hell summer, Alaksa cold winters, vampire mosquitos, crap build quality on homes, way too overregulated, and dont even get me strated on their DMV... I am moving too very soon.

Same with me I use to love houston and I still got love for houston and sports but the crime the high cost of living the sorry low wage job pay worst traffic no balance work life time to leave

I forgot to add: Fresno cost of living = cheaper than dallas. It's in between fort worth and dallas for housing costs.

@@americanchauvinist1210 old housing stock has high costs. Sure - Upgrades will need to be done to get lower prices. New houses, however, are super efficient and all come with solar. 0 dollar a month bills are possible. Solar is mandatory in California. Check all the roofs on houses 12 years or newer(most have solar). Ttyl. Edit: Fresno has lower home insurance rates than dallas. That helps to take the sting out of the energy costs some.

@@truss6282 middle class pays lower taxes in California. Its about a wash when you consider all taxes, fees, and tolls. There have been studies on texas vs California costs done. Cheers.

If you come to California, set up an office in fresno/clovis. It's one of the few places still building houses in California. It's pretty during fall, spring, and winter. Not so pretty during summer tho. Weather = el paso weather(hot and bone dry). But you can drive 30-40 minutes to escape most summer heatwaves. Downtown is UGLY like waco, but it's finally getting fixed up (give it a couple of years ). There are mansions and McMansions all over the river. Skiing is 80-90 minutes away(good skiing). Kings canyon park is 90 minutes away(its like big bend, but even prettier). Great fishing everywhere. A small, but very good foodie scene. Politically purple, but it will be blue in a few years. Oh yeah, crime is going down, not up (2023=way safer than dallas). To sum it up: mix denver with waco. Sprinkle el paso = fresno. Take care, rich.

Not like Waco!!! lol. Thank you for sharing. I've never been to Fresno, but will add to my list. Currently we have offices in San Diego and San Francisco. Fresno sounds like a perfect city for our office to expand into.

@@VIPRealty i know. haha. Developers ignored downtown for decades, but they now want to fix it up. High speed rail is getting built in fresno and thats helping the area out. Fresno to downtown san jose in 50+ minutes(look up san jose metro house prices). Check out tesoro viejo, fig garden, clovis, and copper river areas. Best hotel is table mountain casino just outside of fresno, stay there. Clovis is building a luxury hotel soon to compete. Be sure to visit the national parks when you visit. Take care, rich.

Don’t move to Fresno that place is not a good place to live in. Everyone there is crazy or so out of reality it’s kind of scary

@@kayj3802 he's not moving to fresno. He'll be opening an office in a nice part of metro fresno. Fresno has 6 homicides this year. Dallas has well over 60(with just 2x population as fresno). But go on and be afraid about little ole fresno. Cheers.
