Leaving Negomobo In Pursuit Of The "REAL" SRI LANKA... 🇱🇰
I almost bailed and left the country before even exploring the main attractions I had dreamed of visiting, but I told myself I wouldn't make any rash decisions whilst sick (my most vulnerable moments during my travels)... so after a slow week spent recovering and experiencing a surreal culture shock in Negombo, I finally felt fit enough to start moving again!!! And the hotel (a little out of the main tourist attraction) of Kandy, was the perfect respite! What a PERFECTLY PEACEFUL place to recharge before exploring this gorgeous side of the country...

$20 - $30 you can find a nice mid range place. That is more recommended.

In England we used to have refreshments served on trains.when I went to Northampton last year there was refreshments but it was over priced. In Sri Lanka the refreshments are excellent and reasonable
