Leaving London behind for the quiet narrowboat life - 179

Living in London has been exciting, but we're exhausted from the hustle and bustle, and it's time for us to escape to the quiet UK canals in the countryside. With winter creeping in, it's time to head north, but not before one last nostalgic (and slightly eventful) cruise down memory lane... ✌🏻👋🏻

Thank you for the passing year and may your dreams come true this year of world peace.Everyone should live in their own country and build order and not build mosques where the Orthodox people in Russia have a common language, Russian as well as English. Muslims are brought to different countries in Germany where there are plenty of them. In power, many work from Muslims. Is it possible to build your own order in Russia and build mosques? Or builds high-rise buildings nearby where it does not correspond to the project? War is beneficial to destroy houses and neutralize them from terrorists, as in Israel. Both benefit from the war. And politicians missed this opportunity to protect the borders of Israel 🇮🇱 🤔Or after all, in the USSR (Soviet socialist republics) they talked about the conflict in Ukraine. Before the elections, President Trump and the President of Israel and Russia will remain.Find a way to prosper and not like on the border of Israel. Change the president. We don’t hate ourselves and we are repulsed by sanctions, but we are under control and cannot choose between development and freedom 🗽. Something that will benefit the economy in any country. And before leaving, they take away Russian passports, which are without other citizenship and have a Russian family. This is a mockery and war. Many people have property in Miami with stolen money, is this normal? Where laws are improved for the benefit of the people, the restrictions are worse. Before the elections, they want people abroad to vote for the current government in Russia Now there is an information war where only the brains of politicians do not work. Where the brothers of Ukrainians, like Muslims, are accepted in Russia and in the West and Europe and all similar problems. On March 8, 2022, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby announced that Ukraine receives weapons from 15 countries, including the United States. Homeless people from the mess that is happening in America, drugs are transported through Chechnya and do not change power. 10 million ethnic Russians in Ukraine. Think about the lies and training began in 2014 military Ukrainians 🇺🇦. 😂😂😂😂😂Young people, not understanding the political issue, vote yes to Trump and expect good things and support for genocide from France and Germany and the USA

Quite a funny turn of events guys - you just went past my old flat! The flat I left 2 weeks ago, leaving London behind to move onto a barge!! I lived by the ever-overflowing bit that you passed “Hackney wick waterfall” haha! Bit emotional watching this as we speak.. as I sit on the floor or my new boat home 😂 The labour of love has well and truly commenced! ♥️

BTW, regarding duckweed being made into food - ducks will eat duckweed if they don't have anything else. However, everyone feeds ducks, frequently with food bought especially for them! So why should they bother?🤔🤔 Enjoy the GU.

This is fascinating. Thank you for this! Yes, it must have made you feel like you were "under the microscope", with all those people watching. I was in London for three weeks last April and was at the London Zoo. Some of those monkeys are Spider Monkeys. One of them jumped on a guy's backpack and started to unzip it, he might have had food in there. All the animals in the zoo(s) are amazing. In the London Zoo, I wish the bigger animals like the gorillas and tigers, etc. had more outside space to move around in. I wonder what they do with all that green weed. Happy New Year from Gwen in Washington state, out by the Pacific Ocean. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

£175 per week 😳 (That’s around $334/week in Australian money) I guess if you’re working in the city, it’s still a lot cheaper than paying rent. But £25/night which is almost $50 Australian dollars seems incredibly expensive for one nights mooring. If it was a secured area, that might be worth £25, but it’s not 😳 I’m going to guess that they have some sort of limit on the number of consecutive nights that you could moor there - but I don’t really know what the rules are. Don’t get me wrong though, I wouldn’t want to pay that much. And that’s the whole point isn’t it, they want to get rid of some people and only have those people that can afford it - it’s really appalling behaviour. 🙂🐿🌈❤️
