There was a big cut on my seat, and restoration fixed it. So far, I don’t have any issues and my seat still looks perfect except some small stretches.

Well planned and produced video on a topic of interest to anyone who drives the same car for more than 4 or 5 years, or who buys used, older vehicles, many of which have rips and tears in the driver's seat. Thanks for making this. The detailed instructions are great!. P.S. I'd recommend cleaning the entire seat bottom with the detailing brush & cleaning solution, so that the repaired area would not stand out because it was cleaner than the surrounding area. Takes only minutes more, and you have to wait 4 hours for the seat to dry anyway. Particularly liked your technique for putting the ventilation holes in the patch to match the surrounding area.

It would have came out a lot better if you would not have cut the material but just loose strings, put that backing under trim and super glued the tear back together, put the resin over the cut with would be very small if done this way. Painted over the damaged area and then used some very fine sand paper to smooth it out. That is the way repairs are done by the manufacture.

Dude just in the last few days alone I've watched like 5 of your videos. I had to replace a fuel filter and clean my fuel injectors and you had awesome straight to the point without leaving anything out on those. I can see you stick to the same formula for other videos including this one. Much appreciated. Where you from brotha? Eastern Europe, Middle East?

If those seats were just maintained and cleaned and polished on a regular basis they wouldn’t tear like that. I’m sure those surfaces fissures are just due to drying of the leather, making it weak. A leather conditioner would do wonders on those seats. Thank you so much for this information! My mom has a Benz and the seats are like this. My brother was driving it for a while and the driver seat and arm rests are ruined! We had been thinking that it was because of how he always leaned back in the seat, but it could very well be that he didn't get the car detailed and the seats conditioned. I took it for an estimate and was quoted over 1k to have it fixed. Maybe I can find someone to do this instead.... just hope the outcome is as good.

I think you need to find a better kit but not super bad. If it weren't for the holes it would have turned out ok.

See A.R.T.s Real Repairs if you want to see how to repair perforated leather seat where it looks like new. This repair what we use to call "butcher job" Sorry, I know you did your best but A.R.T.s will show you a professional repair. (PS...I'm not associated in any way with A.R.T.s, just try to help with another option). Oh, and 'seat' is not spelled 'sit' : )
