Thank You so much! I couldn’t figure out how to do the diagonal stitch on the backside. Thanks again and have a great day!
Wow good video
I’ve been watching stitching videos for years! They run from too simple and plain wrong to WAY too complicated to be of any real help. Ian Atkinson recently posted a GREAT video, it clearly showed how to do true saddle stitching and it showed it from both sides and it did this in under 45 minutes. Anyway, you just took first prize in my book. Thanks for the video.
This is such a perfect and clear video. Thank you so much.
Thank you!

One question... I thought you were supposed to place the iron centered on your divider line, you are placing it to one side, why is that?
@WSLEATHERWORKS

if I use a diamond pricking iron I do like the way you said. But for pricking iron, I put it under the divider lane. :)

Then, how to measure the tread length?
@lowspeak

Four to five times the length of the stitch line.

I use x4 sewing length for leather 3mm thick.

I personally go 7x the length of the stitch line. Better to be over than under. And thread is cheap.
