Hi Beth, i have two questions about kalapas. Why didn't the Buddha mention them? And is that concept present in other traditions? Thankyou very much

They are mentioned though not using that word. They are mentioned as the impermanent nature of all materiality. Kalapa is just a convenient word for the same thing that we find in the commentaries. All deeply practicing Buddhist traditions recognise the momentarily arising and perishing nature of materiality, though the vocabulary may differ.
I would like to ask if during your stay at the monastery you also learned any healing method from Venerable Pa Auk Sayadaw, such as nanso no ho or tanden soku in Rinzai Zen.

No, Pa Auk Sayadaw doesn't teach those methods as far as I know.
