I’ve been a SONE for 8 years, and out of all the girls, I feel like Seohyun has really shown the most change when it comes to maturing as both an artist and a person. I mean, everyone matured so wonderfully, but Seohyun especially just...blossomed into such a beautiful and elegant woman. She’s become so mature, yet her child-like personality inevitably comes out when she’s with her Soshi sisters. She really is the pride of SNSD: singer, actor, and diplomat.

Seo+Hyo is one of the closest duos within snsd. We love to see it.

Bora from Sistar is like best friends with snsd. They were on IY together, Sistar, MissA, Fx, Secret, T-ara, BEG, 4minute, Kara way back in 2013-2014. Pretty much all those fandoms get along for the most part.

Soyou from Sistar is particularly close with Seohyun and Bora with Tiffany. 2nd gen was just a different time!

Seohyun has changed through the years, even more mature and wonderful. But her straightforward attitude hasn’t changed! She’s Soshi’s pride, they definitely love her the most. That’s why they always tease her and dote on her. She is also our pride, we’re all proud of all the things she achieved through hard work and perseverance. We watched her grow up! 💜 As most comment said here, S💗NE are mostly in good terms with other fandoms. When Soshi were active a few years back, a lot were in constant bickering with Wonderfuls and Blackjacks. (There are also some boy group fandoms that S💗NE had fanwars with, mostly because of how their boys are close with any of the girls) Everyone eventually grew out of it. Right now, a lot of us support groups or individuals that Soshi does or mentions. All our energy are used towards our jobs/families so we only have so much left for Soshi. 😂 So please feel free to react to whoever you wish to! Also, Seohyun is good friends with Soyou and Tiffany with Bora! So SISTAR will definitely be so so welcomed! Seohyun is full of class, dignity and intelligence and her reputation is pristine. When South and North Koreas had a joint concert few years ago, the president administration had to reach out to Seohyun urgently, because she was the one Nothern Korean side requested to be an MC. She's that reliable and well liked. But once again, don't let her good girl image fool you. Do you know who Seo's best friend in the group is? Hyoyeon. That alone says a lot about her personality. She always had a playful troll side in her. She also outgrew her original health freak image long ago. She's fine with burgers now. She doesn't hate men, she openly admits having been in relationships despite never being caught in a scandal. She has a lot of passion and an open mind. I'm not sure why there is lack of content for her on YT. Probably English speakers prefer more in your face personalities. She's in the upper half of the popularity list in SK and China, I believe.

Seohyun is a typical maknae, like all her unnies bully her with love.lol She is a total lady now but when she’s with her unnies like when she called taeyeon in her iglive yesterday, she goes back to baby mooodee yelling uniiiie unieeee

The "lore" about Seohyun is kind of immense and hard to explain. As others have said, she changed the most, starting as a quiet 16 year old daughter of a piano teacher who sill liked cartoon characters. In the early days she was so prim and proper as to be almost "saint" like. It's hard to explain, and mind blowing when you see SNSD's Pride in context. It's another reason why you need to find longer clips of her interactions with the other members and especially her year long stint in We Got Married to really get it. She was also so innocent and gullible. She loved UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon and his books, and even got a signed copy. Many Sones think she will be President of South Korea or even the UN some day. By the time she left she was already branching out into musicals and more "adult" acting roles that SM would never allow the precious maknae to touch in the past. She also finally had her own solo debut in her 10th year and was "Shaking It" with the best of them. Any collection of "clips" of Seohyun just won't do the maknae justice in terms of where she's been and how far she's come.

I think 2nd gen fans were mostly multi stans and loved multiple groups. Back in the day when Big Bang and Wonder Girls were at their peak, they did a few collaboration stages together and fans absolutely looooved it.

Honestly second gen stans are in their 20s (like me) and 30s. Since second gen ended, I don’t think most second gen stans have a problem. Actually most of the groups in second gen were friends like GG went to a Wonder Girls’ members’ wedding, CL and Tiffany hung out, Sistar and GG are really close friends too (Bora came for Tiffany’s bday and Soyu is one of Seohyun’s best friends). There are so many honestly and they are almost all in their 30s so it’s cute and I think fans are fine with it too. I’m also a proud multi stan since 2011, so I would love to see u react to more 2nd gen

Yay love Seohyun!!!! (We also call her SeoLady because she's a grown beautiful lady). I love her song "Don't Say No." Even though she prefers being more mature than cute, she has so much energy, and I love the mood she brings to her group. She is also the biggest victim in the pranks that the girls do on each other cause she's the youngest. But Girls' Generation have a close bond, which is another reason that made me fall in love with the group because I like seeing genuine relationships. They did have feuds with each other living together, but they're human and dealt with the issues to build stronger bonds. For example, Sunny had problems with YoonA's aegyo, and people would think they wouldnt get along, but they're actually really close with each other by always hanging out and calling each other. The girls are very supportive of each other too. Tiffany is cute on social media by always showing love and commenting on her members' instagram. YoonA has shown lots of support towards Taeyeon. Sooyoung and Hyoyeon show up as cameos in Tiffany's concert and mv. Yuri, who has a cookinh youtube channel (which I love watching), had an episode where she invited her members to eat. All of them showed up except fot Sunny and YoonA due to busy schedules. Tiffany has showed up more in Yuri's channel as support. Most of them have been on Sunny's radio show. Overall, they still talk to each other off and on camera and support each other. We, Sones, are anticipating their next ot8 comeback or a Oh!GG (ot5) song.

Seohyun is really straight forward lmao. Really savage. Seohyun, Tzuyu and Yeri are really Maknaes on top. On top of that, her vocals is to die for 😭💕 She's really a big fan of Sistar too. Bonus fact: Yoo Jae Suk, the guy she mentioned her ideal type was is the most influential and most famous celeb in Korea. One of his nickname is "Yoo Neu Nim" w/ch came from the word "Ha neu nim" that means God bcs of his numerous acts of kindness towards his fellow celebs and his yearly donations to ppl in need. Second gen groups used to interact a lot cause back then there were a lot of fun collabs and everything was just a lot more chill lol. There were fan wars cause there’s always been crazy fans, but it was nowhere near how it is today 👀. SNSD is super close to Sistar (Tiffany even had Bora invited to her birthday dinner last year), Miss A (another throwback group for you to react to 😍; Hyo and Min are super close from pre debut) and boy grups like Super Junior and 2pm (both throwbacks 😂)

Merry Christmas Mao Mao 🐈🤧 Seohyun changed the most. The old clips you watched of her telling ppl to eat healthier in a straightforward way was when she was in her awkward and timid phase. She’s aged like fine wine, watching her performance on “Private Lives” shows how much she’s grown as a woman and an actress. My ult bias!! As a couple others have pointed out, she’s definitely matured into such an elegant woman but still has such a precious childlike side. Even though she acts like the oldest a lot of the time she’s the group’s BABY, they tease her all the time but just as much like to swaddle her and give her compliments haha. Sucks that there aren’t more funny compilations but she’s very cute, very talented, and very smart. Also you can pronounce her name with the ‘e’ silent, like So-hyun :)

Also random fact, Soyeon, T-ara's main vocal was supposed to be the leader of SNSD but sadly quit before debut.

I got into Kpop during 2nd generation and safe to say that a lot of groups get along with each other due to collaborations and variety shows. Aside from Super Junior, SNSD is really close with Sistar. As far as fandom fights, it was more of a competitive and friendly fanwars, nothing aggressive compared to fandoms these days. Members from girl groups and boy groups can be easily paired up without worrying about the fans. It was good times, lol. Sones are usually against Blackjacks(2NE1) and Wonderfuls(Wonder Girls).

Not to say that there weren't any fanwars back then as well. The infamous black ocean of 2008 was a prime example of what fandoms could do to these groups. Fans hated the fact that SNSD were close to Super Junior and TVXQ so they staged a mass boycott to show their displeasure. But you're right, fans of 2nd gen groups have grown up to the point where they just don't care about these feuds anymore and rather, just focus on cheering on and supporting the groups they like while keeping it civil towards the ones they don't really care about. But I do agree that fandoms and overall "Stan" culture has gotten really extreme, to the point where gender opposite groups of the same company can't even interact with each other even when they're friends.

"Nothing aggressive"? You must be living in a different world. or seeing the past through rose coloured glasses. "Fanwars" started and blew up there in the 2nd Generation. Its much tamer now. Partly due to the legislation and authorities and companies learning how to deal with it.

SONEs are old. Ofc there are young fans too like me but most of us are in their 20’s and 30’s. We were rivals with Blackjacks(2NE1 fans) before but we’re okay now and doing FUNwars like which mv gonna reach 100M first etc. Also a thing(?) about Seohyun -She played a gay character in one of her dramas. Yes do 2NE1 next. They and Girls' Generation had a great rivalry and friendship. Do other groups you mentioned too. Unlike 3rd and 4th generation fans we 2nd gen fans mostly had 'fun wars' instead of fan wars. Most 3rd and 4th gen fans are toxic. 2nd gen idols interacted, supported and collaborated with other 2nd gen idols from their own and other companies. Examples of idol interaction can be seen in the farm life reality show Invincible Youth 1 & 2. In that show which ran for 1 year each season you see girls as regular cast members from Girls' Generation (Yuri, Sunny, Hyoyeon), Brown Eyed Girls (Narsha), Kara (Goo Hara, Jiyeong), T-ara (Hyomin), Secret (Sunhwa), 4Minute (Hyuna), f(x) (Victoria, Amber), Sistar (Bora), After School (Jooyeon), Sori, Rainbow (Woori), Jewelry (Yewon), MissA (Suzy) and other female and male idols appearing as guests every week interacting with each other and becoming friends that have lasted till this day.

Between the groups there is hardly ever any beef, fandoms are a whole different story, now with most of the older groups being no longer around (as a group) such as KARA, 2NE1, SNSD, f(x), ... there isn't really any beef anymore between the fandoms we all just miss the groups that brought us into kpop. but with newer groups there can be some really unjustified hate between some parts of the fandoms, because honestly it's only really the toxic part of a fandom that really goes out of their way to hate another group, I feel most people are just content stanning the groups they like and are indifferent towards the groups they don't like to listen to. I hope you react to whatever group you want to react to and not feel obliged to ignore a group just because some toxic members of another groups fandom don't like it, for example I'm not the biggenst fan of exo and haven't watched all your video's of them, I watched a couple, but I can't really relate to you there in the SNSD video's I can totally relate and that is what makes it entertaining for me. sorry for the ramble :)

I loved it, but I think this wasn't enough. SeoHyun wrote all her songs for her mini álbum debut, all her songs excepting her title track. Also, SeoHyun plays many instruments, she talks a very good English, she dance very well, she sings very very very well, I just love her so much, and now her acting is the best! i love that you did a video for each member! they are all such fun girls and you can really tell how much they love each other and that they are actually really close friends. can't wait for you to get more into their discography :) (oh and a side note, the "seo" in seohyun is pronounced more like a soft "oh", just like the "eo" at the end of taeyeon and hyoyeon's names)

2nd gen fandoms (and idols alike) are waaaaaay friendlier and comfortable with each other compared to newer generation of Kpop stans. You'll get a lot of collab stages, CFs and MVs for boygroups and girlgroups without any unnecessary issue or fandoms hating on the other. I think that what sets the 2nd gen apart - golden era of Kpop! Now the idols can't even be friends with the opposite sex without having fanwars or rumored scandals here and there. 2nd gen have the stringest bonds in between groups, too! You'll find clips of SNSD being bff with members SHINee, Sistar, T-ara, Suju.. I'm proud to say SNSD is one of the few groups that are friendliest to other idols, whether they belong to the same company or not.

Fandoms were very different during second gen years, groups would make tons of collabs on variety shows, so many of them are very close, SNSD is particularly close with Super Junior, Shinee, Wonder Girls and Sistar, and it really helps the fact that all of second gen fans are in their twenties/thirties (like myself lmao) so they don't care about fan wars. Nowadays fandoms have changed a lot and companies avoid their idols making too many interactions with other artists to avoid fanwars, since social media wasn't really a thing back in the days, it was harder for hate comments to reach the idols that easily, but today that has changed and their are more vulnerable to the people's opinion. That's why i really can't get into any new groups or current idols, they are too young for me now, and fandoms are insane.

There was a little bit of heat between the SNSD fandom (Sone) and the 2NE1 fandom (Blackjack) in their times, because they’re were always competing for the awards. But none of us can deny that both groups were the queens of their generations.

Many ppl already explained this, but yeah seohyun definetly loosened up on the healthy thing, but she's still very outspoken and sure of her beliefs, plus she's very ambitious and focused which makes her someone truly admirable. She was on hiatus for 2 yrs, and the role she picked for her acting comeback was a lesbian elemntary teacher who struggled with her relationship w her mother, bc she said she wanted to comeback w a work she felt was important, and many ppl could relate to her character's struggle. Another nice thing:when asked what she wanted to mentor younger idols on, she said mental health

I really want you to react to SuJu, but as you are saying...I think you should react to groups you are curious of. It will always have fandoms fighting over each other, so I think you should just don't give a shit about them and do your thing. Seohyun was my least favorite Soshi (cause I disliked her straightforward personality as she participated in We got Married with CNBLUE's Jung Yonghwa, that was my ultimate bias back then), but years later she has won a space at my heart and now she is one of my bias. I love her voice and her cuteness.

I think because Seohyun debuted so young we as SONE watched her ho through mature gracefully she is the definition of character development ❤️❤️❤️❤️ forever will be SNSD pride ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

To name a few, Tiffany is best friends with SISTAR's Bora, SNSD Yuri & Sunny were in a variety show with T-ara's Hyomin and were very supportive of them throughout the group's bullying scandal (which was untrue). As for the fandoms, Sones and Blackjacks (2NE1's fandom) often fought a lot but if anyone ever questioned these two groups and their power in K-POP, both fandoms would have each other's back tbh.

Sunny and Hyomin (T-ARA) are very close friends. Sunny has been by Hyomin's side even in the darkest times. They share a really good friendship! Also, Soyeon (T-ARA) used to be a trainee under SM entertainment, she was about to debut in SNSD when she decided to leave. And later, she debuted as T-ARA'S main vocalist in 2009. You should check T-ARA'S Roly Poly it's one of their greatest success.

Years from now we will look back and see that Seohyun's life is really modelled on that of Shirley Temple-Black. After her life in music and acting has finished, she will become South Korea's ambassador to the United Nations, where she will introduce herself as "Girls' Generations' Seo Ju-hyun"

SNSD are friends with Sistar and also T-ara. Not sure if you reacted to them yet I don't remember but T-ara was definitely also a top tier 2nd gen group. If you react to them I highly suggest Sexy Love (my fav single) and Like The First Time (first song I listened to by T-ara).

Been a kpop fan since 2009 until now. 2nd gen era are the best. All artist can interact and be friends with each other. They also performed each other songs. Boy and girl groups can be friends with each other and had collab in any shows without dating issues. Views are not important at all. And most of the fans are multifandoms and rarely had fanwars unlike today.

Seohyun actually pleased a gay woman in a drama back in February I believe! I’ve been a fan of SNSD for years and just found out about the rep they have (which means a lot to me as a gay SONE). I know they had drag queen in 2 of their music videos, Sooyoung wore a rainbow love will win shirt sometime a few years ago, and Tiffany wrote a love letter to her LGBTQ+ fans. It honestly made me love them so much more. 🥰

You know more about third generation than you think Austin, the 3rd gen started in 2011 so just among groups you personally are following closely there's mamamoo, EXO, Red Velvet (now) and plenty of others you've checked out are also within that era, and in regards to groups having friendships there are plenty great ones, Red Velvet and Mamamoo actually are super super friendly with Seulgi and Moonbyul being great friends (Selfish) and all of them knowing each other, there are plenty of videos of these friendships among groups you stan if you ever want to check them out.

The fandoms of 2nd generation didnt like each other. I recall getting into arguments over silly stuff back then. Sones and blackjacks were fighting all the time and in 2014 when both groups had a comback at the same time, woow, that was like hell, both fandoms wanted to prove that their group is better. Now we get along but back in the days well we werent that fond of each other.

It’s pretty much 2nd gen kpop girls in a simple life format (Paris and Nicole). Amazing cast of girls with incredible chemistry and humour. One thing about 2nd generation fandoms that is seldom mentioned is how all Kpop fandoms banded together in force to achieve international support for SNSD to win the first KZread MV Award given to a Kpop act. Since then no other Kpop boy or girl group/celebrity has ever won this international award. SNSD beat out the stiff competition of Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber years before social media became readily accessible and common place. All of 2nd gen fandoms voted SNSD to win because SNSD represented Kpop, an up and coming genre quickly gaining world wide popularity in large part due to SNSD when western pop was dominating MV and air waves. 2nd gen SNSD fans would probably enjoy your reaction to other 2nd gen groups. The journey would enlighten your understanding of how influential these groups have been to Kpop, whose style and sound are echoed by 3rd and 4th gen acts today.

Soshi fandom and 2NE1 fandom had beef with each other back then because of the competition between the 2 groups but i don't think 2nd generation fanwars are a thing anymore. We just love each group because we miss that era. Also the majority of girls are friends with each other between the groups despite the competition. Members of SNSD are good friends with members of Sistar or T-ara for example. Just like Red Velvet is good friends with BlackPink, Mamamoo, Twice and OMG.
