@@hassanjamal4212 The 1200 cylinder heads stick out sideways, the 800's are vertical, so the 1200 is much winder down lower. When it "falls" over, the first thing to hit the ground is the top of the cylinder (or guard outside of it). It's sort of that the bike leans sideways at an angle instead of turning 90 degrees flat on the ground. In very rough terms, it's the difference between a diamond that falls sideways, and a rectangle that flips on its side.

I’ve ridden through loose sand on that bike and almost dropped it. When you guys were saying that the bike wants to do it’s thing I didn’t realize that at the time but that’s exactly what I was letting it do, I just stood up and just let the bike do its thing. Fun video. I'm impressed with the BMW's. I sure do miss the test rides you did on the other channel. I learned a lot about a variety of motorcycles and purchased a used Vulcan 900 classic LT as a result. Thanks for helping me make the best choice.

Bravo to your Dad!!!! I'm almost 60, and I love, love LOVE my CRF250F trail bike, AND my Victory CCT! This year, I hope to add a YZ250FX to my stable, and do my second Hare Scramble race. I've often wondered about those big Adventure bikes, and whereas I've never been interested in riding or owning one, they do look capable. Thanks for the vid, and God Bless!

I went there last year. Very informative and fun. I took the on road course and at the end they had us do that same stop in the corner except it was dry so they had us hold it at 60 mph and then emergency stop. Everyone looked at each other and said " aint happenin " but we all did it. Nice to know since I ride a 1250.

I’ve got a ‘21 40th anniversary 1250 GSA and a ‘18 K1600GT. Love ‘em both! The GSA is definitely the “Swiss Army Knife” with it being so good at doing so many different types of riding. Thoroughly enjoyed your video. Looks like you guys had a fantastic several days out enjoying you BMW experience.

Like what you have done with your new format Sean with all the different types of motorcycling and adventuring I got my first motorcycle when I was 17 and have ridden a few bikes since then as I'm now retired but still have a motorcycle and ride from time to time and it still feels good but out in the country it's generally not a problem with cars or people not paying attention it's in the city and then it pays to be a defensive rider but I believe you should always be one . But you still need some skills to help get yourself out of trouble if it's not experience it's a motorcycle course most states require them now before you can get a license which is good but experience is a good teacher. Been watching for a couple of years now and be careful and ride safe my friend God love ya

IMO... The best part of this is the ability to not worry about dropping a bike. That is the only way I ever learned and had fun in the dirt. Push yourself and not worry. I've always felt an inexpensive, good running, "beater" GS would be great to learn on. Unfortunately even old GS's are all pristine. I'd hate to trash them!
