Speaking from experience every Ka ever burns/uses more oil then you would expect. But it's nearly unkillable. We used one to deliver white goods (washers dryers etc) that car got absolutely trashed but never died.

I love that the little car which everyone loved to make fun of in the £1000 car challenge has refused to die and now is featured in half of the channel's videos!

Who would have guessed the one with the most wrecks would be the best at purposefully losing control and trusting the car to just do what it does and he is just there for the ride.

IMO, because he's not a rally driver he doesn't used to drift/skidding tires. He's unconsciously always trying to make the car stable because he always did it in his prior days. Hence he isn't good at these skill tests.

the ka car is probably one of the harder cars to j turn in because the wheel base is so short its probably hard to get the front to skid. I guess some old worn out front tires would make it easier.

At least Calum can't get lost doing JTurns 😂

The chase challenge would be great if you put out the glass from the rear and side windows, give the driver a paintball mask (you know, bank robber covering up his face), and aim for the driver to simulate getting shot thru the windows. Make it longer, looped track, and whoever drives the longest distance before getting shot, wins.

It was too expensive and too complex to fix. And I personally don’t think it really fits with the vibe of the channel.

Have you seen Project Binky? Working on a car, filming it, editing it, and so on -all while doing other work- takes AGES. Be grateful if/when the updates come out. Otherwise, I don't think this kind of passive-aggressive BS is particularly helpful.

@@azathoth3700 It's been 7 months since they bought it and looked under the car and around it. Making a list of parts, buying them and installing isn't really that hard, its not like they need that car fixed in one video. The Subaru had regular updates and the entire project with like 10 videos was done after about 6 months. They made one video on the M3 in more time than the entire Subaru project took.. Thats not excusable with editing and time management.
