@TheOriginal RudeBoy just subtract the exponents. 4 - 6 = 2[shortcut but not always works] The way she did it was by using cancelation. Basically * is times btw x2 = x * x y6 = y * y * y * y * y * y y4 = y * y * y * y 15 x2 y4 --------- 5 x y6 = 15 x x y y y y ------------- 5 x y y y y y y 15 -x- x -y- -y- -y- -y- ------------- 5 -x- -y- -y- -y- -y- y y = 3 x --- y2 and remember y2 = y y Sry if this did'nt help. Im not good at explaining.

youre not an idiot u was just young and easily frustrated when the u got the answers wrong and things didnt connect the way it was taught.

Thank you so much. After graduating HS 5 years ago and never touching algebra since, I had no idea what I was doing. I've never taken the ACT and finally decided to prepare for college. When I opened the ACT math practice test, I felt like I was staring at a wall of Chinese text. These videos may just help me make it into college =)

Thank you so much for the perfect explaining. The way you teaches it makes mathematics so easy to understand. Step by step even my mathematics teacher never explained those step that clearly. And the voice in video is so clear and good quality it don't hurt my ear when I hear them with my headphones on.

Finally! I have been trying so hard to understand Algebra for college placement testing. I sucked at it in high school...flash forward 18 years I really have had no comprehension of even the basic facts. The popular sites don't explain the basics. This has been so helpful and make me feel like I can finally understand.

thank you so much for this. during the pandemic i skipped on all of my classes (from grd 6-7 and now im currently grade 8) i am in a tight position right now because i have to go to school and do a test later and i havent slept yet i am truly pathetic. i sincerely regret just cheating my way through my online tests because i dont want to disappoint my already disappointed mother. i am currently still 5 minutes in the video and i can already tell that we did learn this in class. i remember our teacher talking about this but just never got it so i just muted the tab and went off to another planet to play games. So to anyone that also cheated good luck on your face to face recitations lmao. also, i really like how you guys teach. Its so difficult when your teacher is trying to teach you and at the same time screaming in your ear and being mad because nobody is answering her question. Again thank you kind people.

+Nerdy you can rewrite your answer in whichever order because of multiplicative properties. You can write ac6b^2 if you want, but convention says coefficients (the 6) go up front.
