I didn't quite understand why at 3:30 the English translation was a noun thunderstorm. Right before you were showing examples all of which were adjectives: ..., bulutlu, sisli. Now this phras with the adjective affix -lı at the end of yağışlı. So I would expect this phrase to be an adjective as the others in this list. But not the noun "thunderstorm".

I got 40. The Qn 5, I only remembered one word out of 2… but I knew I was forgetting the one word… and I also forgot cloud. But overall, it was good and I could remember it Alhamdulillah,

so thunderous literally means: "noisy sky"

I notice many non native English speakers pronounce W's as V's . They pronounce woman as Voman , wealthy as Vealthy etc... Anyone know why ?

Because there is no letter w in Turkish. We pronounce that letter as v.

We dont have w in Turkish so most Turks don't really know the difference between them and pronounce the W's as V's. I don't know about other non native English speakers tho

She is fully intelligible but she has a foreign accent in her Turkish. She sounds non native. But if you are a foreigner learning Turkish, it is not realistic to aim for anything better.

Azerbaycan bir zamanlar Osmanlı'nın bir toprağıydı. Bu yüzden onlar da bizim gibi Arapça ve Farsçadan fazlasıyla etkilendi. Ama Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Türkçeyi yabancı kökenli sözcüklerden arındırma amaçlı TDK(Türk Dil Kurumunu) kurdu. Arapça ve Farsça sözcüklerin oranı %80lerden %20lere kadar düştü. Ama maalesef Azerbaycan bizden bağımsız bir devlet olduğu için onlarda böyle bir dil düzenlemesi yapılmamış ve hatta bir süre Sovyetlere bağlı kaldığından dillerine Rusça sözcükler girmiştir.
