I am a new sewing enthusiast. I have recently purchased the Bernina 475 QE and the Bernina 790 Plus. I wanted one for travel and one at home so that if I was embroidering extensively I would have a backup machine to sew on while the embroidery was working. Your tutorial is so well made that my fear of starting to experiment with features on either machine is so much less intimidating. I look forward to more videos. Thank you!

You did a really great video with lots of good tips! Does that 'snap' hoop work with the Bernina that you are showing. I just bought the 790 Crystal Edition with the new Embroidery module. Would love a snap hoop!

There are several Snap Hoops available for the Bernina 790. If you go to this page www.qualitysewing.com/snap-hoop-monster-1.html you can find a link to the "Machine Compatibility Chart" that tells you which models of Snap Hoop will work with your machine. If you have any questions you can call our Customer Service line at 1-800-687-5175 and they'll be more than happy to help you find the right Snap Hoop for your needs.

If your machine came with embroidery you should have the foot needed to do embroidery. If you added it on after your initial purchase you might need to purchase the foot separately.

30 minutes in you still have not done any work.
