Unfortunately, many traditionalist Catholics are involved in alternative and energy therapies which are at least borderline or entirely new age. For example, in the city near me, people are attracted to a “light restorer” biophoton therapy, but if you read the details, and also look up the sources that the practitioner describes, it has “chi” and “energy” written all over it. He has them hold two glass rods in their hand and supposedly measures “energy readings.” It is unfortunate that this provider is himself Catholic. Not all trads are like this. I am a trad, and sometimes feel like I have to turn in my trad card for not supporting these things. And yes, people get really angry when you suggest that it could be demonic. It is natural for trad Catholics to be attracted to these things because we naturally have a distrust of the system, be it the modern Church or modern medicine, and many times that is warrented, but we must always seek truth in both! One other note… if a therapy claims to be good for everything, it is probably good for nothing!
