Because of my responsibilities, I am often engaged and surrounded by incompetent people who make poor business decisions. I have to maintain my emotional responses because when I must explain the contract to people I often get frustrated because of the loss of money or inability to have the contract fulfilled properly. There are times I just want to burst. Stupidity is an expensive disease.

It's okay to feel frustrated, but maintaining composure is key. Finding ways to calmly communicate and manage these situations can often lead to better results and less personal stress. Hang in there! 🙏

I completely get it. Even if someone wants to throw common sense out the window for whatever reason, usually that person has been there and done that job long enough to know better.

You sound like a lawyer. Message to anyone who wants to go into any business: Know how to read and understand contracts. Know the laws. Know the math. Study the boring and tedious stuff that no one else reads. Know accounting. Keep your books current. Understand taxation and taxation reporting requirements. Understand payroll. Have leadership skills. Be very good managing all types of people. Be mentally strong and personally strong and dynamic. Be respectable. Set a good example. Know how to fire bad employees. Have a strong system of loyalists and supporters. Know who you can trust. Otherwise, you will lose money and eventually fail.
