actually central defenders usaully have to ping the ball across the pitch more than midfielders because since there farthest away from the attackers, in order to connect to their wingers or there strikers they have to ping the ball 60-80 yards depending on the field size

Focus on hitting it on the bottom of the ball. Don’t go for power just hit it at the bottom, it’ll do you wonders

I tried hitting with the spot that you suggest but I got better results when I hit the ball with the instep and the "knuckle" of the big toe. I got more straight and better back lift on it this way. thank you for all of the tips.

the shapes of peoples feet are different so you cant hit it with all the same spot its why a knuckleball is hard for most people

I normally use the ping as a cb but when I used it as a midfielder I got 2 assists and 2 key passes😍
