David Sabo Kettő is used when counting or saying a number, like a year or phone number. két is always followed by something eg. két nap (2 days) or két ember (2 people)

Veronica aaa with patience every language can be learnt. (I speak Chinese and Japanese)Give yourself time, keep practicing and do your best. Hungarian has similarly pronounced letters and sounds, grammar is difficult, but you can catch the logic after a while. It is hard to teach yourself so having a tutor would be recommended. I teach Hungarian in Japan so for them it is totally different. I use these tutorials in my classes sometimes. If they can do it you can as well.

Kétszáztizenkettő. You use kétszáztizenkét if you count something e.g.: Vettem kétszáztizenkét almát = I bought 212 apples Use kétszáztizenkettő if you are just saying numbers but not actually counting stuff

Hungarian has better logic with 11 and 12 than English does

When we were little, my brother and I thought it hilarious to ask each other in an exaggerated tone, "Hülyes vagy??" We were easily amused. ;-)
