@@rianne232 oh... so you're bipolar, just like Erik LOL I cry like a little baby too, my heart breaks too. He's not a bad person. He really loved Christine, he let her go with Raoul, he did everything to make her happy, but he did bad choices, because he has nobody to help him. He was lonely and loveless, he had no life, how could him know what to do? Well, the most important thing is that he let her go, he let her be happy, and he clearly repented of his actions - which aren't bad, he killed a harasser and a torturator (when he was a child), the ONLY *ONLY* cruel thing he did was killing Piangi. He was a victim of emocional and physical abuse, he was trying to survive, he has sweet intentions and he's not a bad person, he only did bad choices, and he didn't know how to express his feelings for Christine. There was no Manual of Life for him to read, he's a good man, but himself did not know this.

Wait he isn’t a good person, he killed 3 people, crashed a chandelier, almost killed raoul, and pretends to be Christine’s dead _father_ . I do believe there is good in him, though. I believe no one is born a sociopath, they become one. But erik has had a terrible life. There’s no denying 5hat. Looks aren’t everything. That’s what makes it so sad. (Btw this is my opinion, please don’t @ me, because we all don’t have to agree :)

She always looks really happy in any performance she’s in, a true goddess.

I was fortunate enough to see her live in the Secret Garden. Let me tell you, she was PHENOMENAL. I have actually been a fan since I discovered theatre and my GOD. I went to see the show (not knowing she was in it) and looked at the playbill and DIED. I was trying so hard not to scream in the theatre lol. I don’t know where this comment went but yeah. Sierra is AMAZING.

• Purple Panda Playz • I just said what was in the credits lol. But in my opinion, I guess I don’t like Raoul ’cause I always saw him as a jerk. Ex: When he asked Christine to go to dinner with him, and Christine said no, he still insisted even if Christine said things had changed. He also forced Christine to perform so that they could capture the Phantom even if she said she was scared and really didn’t want to do it. and also in the book he was kinda rude. He eavesdropped on the conversation of Erik and Christine in her dressing room and eavesdropped again behind the curtains of her dressing room. Yeah so for me he was kinda rude and also possessive towards Christine. He couldn’t accept that she loved someone else so he kept forcing her to do stuff and wanted to kill his rival for Christine (which was Erik). Sooo yeah, sorry I took so much from the book (It’s because I really like it and the story has a lot more detail), but yeah, that’s why I lean more towards the Phantom. (Sorry it’s so long XD)

YESSSSSSSSSS FINALLYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Okay, I’m just going to say this. Christine chose raoul. She’s genuinely scared of Erik. Just really freaked out by him. She doesn’t like him. Raoul suffers for no reason, (but the only advice you get you don’t use it!? come one dude! that makes me mad) but in the final lair, I think people mistake him saying “say you love him and my life is over” as, just let me live, but he’s just saying if you say you love him, I can no longer go on, knowing you’re with someone you don’t love. He honestly just wants her to be happy. But he knows she doesn’t love him. If you see all I ask of you, there’s a pause, where he walks over slowly, and she goes over too, but he wants her to take her time, he doesn’t want to rush her in anyway, and let’s her take her time. I can honestly forgive him getting caught up in everything in notes 2, everyone was screaming, it was just intense. I’m not saying Erik is bad in any way possible, just...she doesn’t love him that way, she loves him as her teacher, and mentor. So that’s why love never dies makes no sense..Christine is just scared of him. Okay, thanks for reading 📖

THANK👏YOU👏 I mean absolutely no offence against Raoul, may come across that way since I am not extremely fond of him hahaha... plz don't judge, personal opinion here. In terms of fictional characters, I tend to lean towards deformed musical geniuses than handsome rich guy for some reason. 😂 Anyhow, in my opinion, both Erik and Raoul love Christine in their own ways, book or musical. And this, interpreted by others, including Christine, leads to her ultimate choice for the "safer" and more secure option: Raoul. And this is the reason many people might dislike Raoul, thinking that Christine should not have preferred him over Erik. And you are 100% correct on how Christine is genuinely frightened of Erik, at least I think. It's mainly just due to a cruel twist of fate and a too-young Christine (17!???) to make a fully thought-out, lifetime choice while her fiancé is being strangled by some creepy dude who might actually blow up Paris. Perhaps if the circumstances were different, i.e. Christine more mature, and Erik exposing his motives/feelings/emotions more clearly towards her, the choice might have been at least more thought out and made more sense. Just didn't happen to be the case. But, oh well, these things do happen. I congratulate whomever has read through that entire paragraph of blabber and understood whatever point I attempted to make... just want to clarify that neither Erik, Christine, nor Raoul are "bad" per se. Again, personal opinion here! Feel free to keep expressing what you think, anyone. I think it's really interesting to see how we all interpret this story... cheers & thanks for watching my video!!

Regrets from Mexico :) I love the couple Christine-Erik, but I know that she was too young to choose something so risky and dark as him )Because he didn´t know how to express his feelings) But I guess that in other context both would have been together. (So, Love never dies heals a little bit my heart, except for the Sad Erik)

What I don’t get is how she went to him in ‘beneath the moonless sky’. She was scared of him, but she thought she made the wrong choice? no way! Raoul and Christine were engaged for about 7 or 6 months. She wouldn’t have made that commitment if she liked Erik atleast a little bit. But she does not. (Even though in music of the night she tries to kiss him various times, but I think it’s because in the book he drugged her or something, so we don’t know. Maybe she was drugged, maybe she was tired, maybe she wanted to kiss him.) but all we can say...is LND has great songs, and a plot that makes no sense, because she’s scared of him too much to actually chose him. And raoul wouldn’t be drunk, if his aunts, Sisters, and brother found out that he was rude to a women, he would actually get YEETED INTO THE SUN!

Thanks!! The "You are Music" song is from the musical Phantom by Yeston (not Lloyd Webber). I could only find a short clip of Sierra singing it tho, and it was during the 4 Stars concert in Japan :) there are other versions out there too if you want to listen!! thanks for watching x
