@@la_esmeralda444 YOUR BIG BIG BIG CRUSHES ARE MY BIG BIG BIG CRUSHES TOOO the first time really I got to know Phantom was through the 2004 movie, with Erik brilliantly portrayed by Gerard Butler, so that image stayed with me for a while until I discovered the existence of Love Never Dies, through which I'd found the BIG BIG BIG talented, inspiring, phenomenal artist who is Ramin Karimloo, and I went on to watch the 25th Anniversary of Phantom and *BAM* began my official life as a "theatre nerd"..... so one might argue that my "favourite" Erik is indeed Ramin, but Gerard's one was what first got me into it. Nevertheless, after I read the original Leroux novel, I recognised Erik as just Erik, and he can't be perfectly portrayed by anyone, in my humblest opinion :) kudos to you (and everyone else!) if you made it through this entire paragraph lmao
