thank you, much appreciated!
honestly the best tutorial vid on sweep picking. the rest are just guys shredding saying nothing about improving the fretting hand...this really helps!
This is by far the best sweep lesson for who approach this technique for the first time that I ever seen, great content! Subscribed!
My dude! You taught me and I’ve been “playing” for years. Never learned sweeping, you put these videos together well my friend!
Very impressed with your structured approach including stressing slow and methodical learning (e.g. just 2 scales for 1 week, focused on the wrist motion, turnaround, etc.). Thank you!
very helpful and clear lesson, thank you
hey thanks man, im getting the hang of a lot of things again finally after about a month of playing again after 10 years off. thanks to your videos on sweeping and tapping i have surpassed my old self even in some ways before even catching up to where i was. i will be recording again in no time! thanks again man great tutorial.
Clint, you such a great teacher. Love your videos and music too!
Thank your for the lesson bro. Been sweeping for about 3 years but been getting really into it lately
The best sweep picking lesson for my opinion
Hola Clint, con 59 años me va a dar trabajo pero lo intentaré, muy buena tecnica y gracias por compartir. Saludo desde Barcelona.
very nice video bro, I love the editing of your videos, the colors are excellent, if you want, have a video showing how you edit your videos

Automatically subbed! Just found your channel today nd I'm really impressed with the video edits (aside from the obvious smooth amazing guitar skills and teaching). This is an underrated channel compared to others who just shreds instead of teach. If you don't mind, what camera and what program are you editing your content? And pls make a patreon acct so we can support you there as well! Cheers!

Wow dude was your father a king crab or giant spider or something? Those spider fingers of yours are amazing.
Do you think it is recommended to practice with the clean guitar as well?
@clinttustin
4 жыл бұрын
Douglas Lima Definitely. Doesn’t have to be totally clean, but I find it’s good to practice on a setting that is very uncompressed (and unforgiving) in order to get everything sounding consistent, and then when you switch to a high-gain setting or ampsim, it will be much easier and sound great
Amazing tutorial but I have a question. When you mute the strings with the fretting hand, do you lift your finger but while still touching the string? I'm assuming that's what happens right?

What I can't do is on fast sweeping, when I need to switch from up->down strokes or viceversa, I always stroke twice the first/last string, because I cannot skip the string correctly, any tips on making it easier?
@clinttustin
4 жыл бұрын
VENiX Try paying attention to how your wrist/pick is slanted. For me it is slanted slightly downward when doing down strokes and slightly up for up strokes.

Real question. Am I be able to sweep if I'm not fast enough to shred.? I think my left hand is slow
@clinttustin

Fio Anugrah it just depends on what you practice most, everyone starts slow at everything. Takes a lot of patience to get the speed up and sound clean, but it’s also rewarding
