Thanks. Many more different video formats for learning Swedish in the video description! Especially if you want to move to a different level...

Sounds like a Stockholm accent. Swedish is more easily learned if you study Old English. I have also observed that the sentence structure of modern Swedish is close to that of Elizabethan English. For example: He doesn’t work = He worketh not = Hon arbetar inte.

Det finns INGEN svensk som säger "ladde" och sen dessutom stavar det met ett d. Talspråk för "lade" är "la" Det är tveksamt om man ens skriver "lade" längre. Det känns som 1800 kallt. 😎

_När _*_kan_*_ jag se dig igen?_ is not a very idiomatic Swedish phrase, really. (It actually looks a bit like an anglicism.) Something along the lines of these would be more typical: _När _*_får_*_ jag se dig igen?_ _När ser man dig igen?_ _När ses vi igen?_ _När ses vi?_

”När kan vi ses igen?” . ”När ska vi träffas nästa gång?” beroende på hur intresserad vederbörande är. Aldrig ”var LADDE jag mina nycklar”! men Var la jag mina nycklar?” Not perfect swedish at any strech. The guy has a perfect accent, but seems to read from a badly translated manuscript. Furthermore He changes the stress to different words of the sentence which also changes the meaning in swedish, or just sounds odd. He can’t be a native speaker.

Why is it that after the normal pronounciation, when talking faster you(or swedes in general) will just skip whole letters and parts of words while expecting the listener to know what words they are saying? Is this a problem with foreigners talking swedish that its hard to pick up what people say when they bastardise their words like this??
