Learn Spanish Tenses: Use IMPERFECTO to talk about your past
In this video I will teach you how to build sentences in Spanish using imperfecto. This Spanish formula is very useful when you want to express what you used to do, what your habits were, your routine. When you are talking about the past, a past that lasted, about actions that were repeated on a regular basis, an action whose number of times you performed is uncertain, you will very likely need Spanish imperfecto. So what you will learn is let's say the equivalent of "When I was a student, I used to live by myself" or "When we were young, we used to go to rock concerts." Think about how many times in a day you use such a structure in your own language and how handy it would be for you to learn it in Spanish. Watch this lesson and learn one of the most common uses of imperfecto, learn some of the differences between imperfecto and indefinido, and say your sentences correctly. Lastly, in this lesson you will learn to use the verb soler -- used to, in formal and informal contexts. Watch this video and keep learning Spanish, don't stop.

She’s so alive with language passion-Gotta love this teacher- such a cute 🐥
Oh my God. Literally weeks of tutoring, and self study, and I still hadn't gotten an understanding of this tense. You're the only one who has explained it in a way that works with my brain. Thank you so much, I have hope now 😂💖
Just loved the way you say how imperfecto takes you down the memory lane, even I thought it's a bittersweet tense, like nostalgia.
Best teacher EVER.
God bless you, Ana. Your way of teaching is absolutely objective and motivating. It’s really pedagogy and andragogy.
Wish you're well and safe, Ana. You're our angel!!!

Holaaaaaa, Ana 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😘😘😘😘.... nice to see you again with new things to learn ❤.
I really enjoy your videos, including your sense of humor. Thank you.
Ana,your videos helped me to study espanol ......I like the way you teach
As a beginner, I only use 100% imperfect and 0% preterite, why? There are only 3 irregulars in the imperfect : 1) ir 2)ser 3) ver. The rest are regular endings ar verbs => aba er / ir verbs => ia On top of this, there are no stem changes in the Imperfects while the Preterite has 1000’s. I will fix with proper past tense, years in the future, when I get better at it.
Realmente este vídeo me ayudó a entender la diferencia entre “pretérito y imperfecto.” Hasta ahora he adivinado. ¡Además me encanta tu pasión!
Never thought study could be that much easy and interesting ❤️❤️❤️
