I love his voice too! To my ear, his voice is ‘soft’, deep, as you said reassuring, it has a ‘melody’ that makes you feel like you’re listening to your grandfather telling you a bedtime story.
He is an international treasure. Respect from Italy.
I may not be British, but when I listened to his voice he sounds like a messenger that can help us lead to a future where we can live together with nature
Oh thanks, he's a myth! Not only a Uk national treasure, to me it's one of the planet treasures 👏

Thank you so much Tom. I really really like the way you explain different features of accents. You're the one and only in this genre. However I would like to request to do Henry Cavill or Ricky Gervais next.

Wow, Tom!! That is fantastic! Congratulations for your book! I cannot wait to read it! Great video, by the way! Sir David is a very remarcable person!!! Could you do a video about James May's accent comparing it with Jeremy Clarckson's and Richard Hammond's accent? Because I've noticed that Jeremy and Richard have a RP accent (i believe) , but James' accent has different features. I thought that he maight be from North England (or even from Ireland xD), but he is not. So my question would be : why is his accent so different that the accents of James and Richard? Thank you!! :)

Thank you Micaela, I'm excited for you to read it too. I had a quick look at James May's accent and you are right it's a little bit different from the other guys' accents. Great choice! Thank you! As a proposal, i would like to see more examples for usage in frases of constructions with: hence, therefore, thus, thereby, etc and if any of this require conditional sentences, like if and unless. For a foreigner, this are not easy at all.
Wow, book from Eat Sleep Dream, it is clearly worthwhile thing to buy, can not wait for its release :D
My favourite person, a lot of respect;)))
Congratulations devid
One thing I find funny, is that despite coming from Italy, my English accent resembles a conservative one more than the usual British person, probably due to the phonetic nature of Italian, thus we articulate every sound
I would utterly love if you did a Florence Pugh and/or Sophie Turner video pronunciation!! I feel sooo confused with them (I love both of their accents but I can’t figure out the particularities of each one). Also pretty sure I’m not the only one. Love your videos!! Keep going 🤗

Thanks for the video!!! Could you make a tom jones' pronunciation the next time? It would be awesome 🤗🤗
I love the way that he speaks with us! Decades ago when I can't understood one word in english I already knew his unique way to convey feelings about nature 😀 Thank you, Sir!
Now who would llike another British treasure accent video - Gordon Ramsay ? xD Please make a video about him Tom ! Thanks
The vowel at the end of HAPPY isn't longer in modern RP. It's still short. It's just a different sound. This change doesn't apply to CITIES, which hasn't changed its pronunciation. Anyone who uses a glottal stop in WATER isn't speaking RP at all (although they may introduce glottal stops in some other situations - note that Sir David himself uses a glottal stop in BRITAIN).
Hey, I got a suggestion for you Tom! You could do the KZreadr Georgenotfound, he has a fascinating southern British accent! He's from Brighton btw. What is confusing me very much, is, that when it connects the next word, he says the er at the end of words like better very American. Even though he speaks a very British English. Is that just americanised or does it belong to british to link words to speak fluently? Hmm, that would be kinda interesting to find out! Love your videos Tom, keep it up! Great evening or whenever you see this!
Can you make video on learning Newt Scamander’s British accent because I’m trying to learn but I can’t find any good ones

From 9:38 is me or is he using a glottal stop when he says the word Britain. It sounds like a glottal stop when he says that people do not understand the natural world

Very interesting as usual. You make me get aware of a multitude of small phonetical facts. You also help me to better understand your language as well as improve my pronunciation. But I don’t quite agree with you about Sir Attenborough’s dropping the diphtongs in ”there” or ”know”. I’m French and I can tell you that I can spot any diphtong, as there are absolutely no diphtongs at all in my language. And I clearly hear his diphtongs, even if his are more subtle than yours. As for the glottal T, I personally choose not to use it because it blurs the message you send. The clearer the message, the better the understanding. Thank you anyway !
Ah, so I separate 'Claire' (monophthong), and 'clear' (diphthongs). Between only the two: Do Conservative RP people separate them, or are they modern RP? I blur the lines a lot.
Tom: of course, this video is not about you trying to replicate Sir David’s accent Me, having been doing exactly this throughout the whole video: 🤭
