@@arnoldcheng9609 True, think the same, learned about yesterday that Mandarin is most commonly spelt this way, is just that in Brazil (where I live) lot of texts about Mandarin have it writen the way I commented. That's the nice thing about learning a language, as our studies go on we start noticing the commom mistakes around us that usually are the key to differenciating a fluent from a "college degree" level of speech (just like when you're in the last steps of mastering your first non-maternal language, though i'm not even close to that with Mandarin)

Holy crap, this is the video I watched when I first got to China in 2017 and so nostalgic. I remember when even this content was almost too difficult and foreign for me. Now I can have semi fluent conversations in advanced topics in Chinese after on and off study over the past 4 years. Don’t give up guys, this language takes a while and is packed with obstacles and barriers to learning but so rewarding the more you learn and communicate with locals. They sure appreciate it and know how hard it is for foreigners to learn.

I learned Mandarin when I was about 6 (and took classes until I was about 8) because my dad worked in China a lot so I would go for a month every year in the summer. I got pretty good, but then my school stopped offering classes and my dad stopped working in China. Recently I got interested in learning again, so I came looking for videos on basic Mandarin. I was surprised by how much I started to remember watching this and that I can still recognize the difference in tune of the words.

Your pronunciation is amazing ! You must helped so many people ! I'm a native Chinese speaker so I'll have to say that there are some translating mistakes , but it's difficult for new foreign learners to understand , those sentences are easy to practice and helpful for communication but they are actually very impolite to say ... Yet , you are a nice person ! 很棒的老师!

Very effective Lessons, I've been married to my Mandarin Wife for 15 years now and was with a Taiwanese girl for two years before her. I should have let myself be taught 17 years ago, that Tawanese girl was a teacher and was good at it. Now I'm starting for real and will be speaking fluently within about 3 years I hope. This the first Video watched since watching about learning how to speak mandarin from some effective British guy explaining what you'd need to learn about four years ago , including witch translater, dictionaries and other relevent information important in learning Mandarin. That was Four years ago, I know now I'm burrying my head into it. May take some time but it'll pay. Most of the wife and I's friends are all Mandarin. Many years, groups of up to thirty people all spoke English for me but now they don't care anymore, they're all relaxed around me so It's time to learn and This Is my starting point. Excellent Announciation. All the Best, Excellent Courses. ( Note- KZread, Please remove the unsavory remarks, I remeber my first beer, there's plenty of other places where those types seek out those remarks) Diplomacy and Respect.

You know as English speakers we hear the very slight inflection make a world of difference and think to ourselves "oh boy what a tough language". But then you just hear the super slight difference in tone for the word "good" and "god" and think, oh s*** English is hard
