my terminal displays apt.get command not found

A few videos back you talked about being at say a coffee shop or someplace with public wifi and said it would be safer, but how is being remote safer, I don't understand how it's safer than if you were at home because if you have ur own home VPN and use it to connect to ur home wifi then idk why being out in public would be safer if you're using the same connection. Like what about being remote is safer than being at ur house? I tried researching but couldn't find any good answers. Also can't u access the dark web from i2p browser?

If the police find a way to track you they will come to your house straight. But if you are in public they will go to the coffe shop and starts to ask them questions

I have a question: I was having some kind of error opening the tor and I fixed it by going to the leadpaf and changing a root setting(integer) from 0 to 1. Is this OK? Is it going to destroy my anonimity? Thanks for all mate

I got a problem with installing tor on terminal. I typed what you showed in the video, but the terminal failed to install by showing the pack is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source.

brother i had the same problem. My kali version is 4.13.0 . What i did was that i changed the sources.list file from code given in kali linux oficial website.(under kali sana repository). kali sana was the one that worked out for me. hope it works out for u too. go to the website and change the repository manually and then try again

Go to terminal type sudo su then enter password for kali then type passwd root make a password for yourself then logout from upper right corner then log in with username root and the password u used

It's okay to do this through virtual machine? Without VPN? Or should I definitely get the VPN? Will it affect my main OS in any way? Thank you if you respond

u can use the command: "su -", this command which change your role into root role, and it need u input password ,if you could not write the correct pswd, then u can use the command "sudo passwd root" to reset the pswd, then try the above command again.

is dark web illegal

Im pretty sure you wont be reading the comments of a video this old but im gonna try anyway, Im from iran wich has a ton of censorship and stuff (even youtube is blocked), but this is easy to deal with since getting a vpn is preeeeeeeeetty easy, but on linux, i have no clue what to do since i can barely even move through the folders, and since installing tor requires you to connect to its site, (wich is blocked here, not suprising) i cant use the terminal to get it or download it, so i tried to download it from my pc and send it to the virtual machine but i try openning it and stuff (from a user wich is not root) but litterly nothing happens. i hope you take the time to read this and give me a solution.

Sata idk very much about this but my reason would be that it is a virtual machine probably not using your actual hardware. What I’m trying to say is that if you connect something to your pc or laptop and the virtual machine probably nothing will happen since it’s not coming from actual hardware ( virtual machine) I haven’t tried this ever so plz correct me if I’m wrong.

Dude... use compression on your audio input. That will save your viewers all sorts of ear bleeding issues...

There is another Linux System where they give you total anonymity, but...If you do illegal things such as download from a torrent site,they ban you.Its name escapes me now...So I shut off their VPN service and use a add on version. I think they provide Tor usage as well. I'd like to go and do,write speak out about stuff,anonymously,non-anonymously,without getting told "Sorry,you can't be published because of ...Blah blah blah.

pls don't mix "dark-web" with other terms. The Tor net is "deep-web" like everything not accessable by the "clear-net". The "dark-web" is even deeper und for grey and illegal stuff...

You can just code your own VPN. I use python.
