Sweepers are dope, learnt them earlier this year and then lost them a few months after. Remember to keep doing newly learnt tricks kids or you might find they escape you.

One thing no one seems to talk about is weight balance and it definitely changed the way I learn and see any trick (40yr old, 1 yr skatting :) ). Would love to hear somedoy your thoughts and tips on that. Keep it true and keep skating!

Damn this just popped into my recommendations and I clicked because I saw Sunnyvale. Then immediately recognized you since I used to skate in the mornings at Sunnyvale a few years back and you were always there teaching the kids. Rad stuff dude.

It’s a little tricky at first but you can do it! 🛹🙌🏽🛹

The swinging of the board as you are saying is the "sweeper" as if the board is a broom and sweeping the deck of the ramp. I can't do them now at 54 but the 80's...differnt story, Videos are sick keep them up. I'll send $$ I'm back to doing rock 2 fakie thanks to that young girl in that video!

I've just jumped on a board again after spending all my youth on 1 but then having like 15-20 years of not skating! Regret all those years man, I can't believe I ever put the board down! Absolutely loving the feeling and the challenges again! Watching ALL of your vids and taking as much as I can from them. I was trying to learn this trick last summer. Never thought of starting on a mellow bank and progress to transition. Thanks for the tip. SPL, if I may suggest a tutorial on backside fast plant? A Boneless ist when you Take your front foot Off and you Grab the Board with the right Hand in the middle of the Deck. And you normaly wouldn't use the coping to drop in after a Boneless. Instead of that, you Land directly in Transition. But i admit, it Looks similar . Sry for the bad english 😅

Bonelesses and bean plants both involve taking the front foot off, not the back. Boneless you grab back hand toe side, bean plant you grab front hand heel side. Sweeper is back foot off, front hand nose grab.
