LEARN HOW TO SHOOT LONG DISTANCE ARCHERY

Спорт

This episode of MAKING THE SHOT with John Dudley of Nock On Archery is a 123-yard elk bomb! There are many factors to consider when shooting a bow and arrow at very long distances at archery events such as a Total Archery Challenge. In this video, Dudley will discuss vane and sight housing clearance, utilizing aluminum arrow inserts for reduced arrow drop, the critical importance of front sight/rear sight alignment, making sure your bubble is perfectly level and not pulling your head to watch your arrow. These long shots on archery courses are a ton of fun but mistakes are magnified at long distances. However, with the right preparation, setup and practice, you will find success on these long bombs and become a better archer at all levels!
