Kocham cię Poland ❤❤❤❤
lol))...though those last two comments take those as complements truely earned. It has always amazed me how the polish throw together their consonants . Sometimes with a C Z and W in the sameword, fo rexample the polish word for exercise(ćwiczenie)... Thank you for your unique approach in breaking it down alphabetically also phonetically. Still struggling i must admit but this really helps....Thank you for what you are doing Sara be well!

What's the difference between ć and cz?
@Ntwadumela1

Two different letters and two different sounds.

'Ć' is a very soft sound. You can achieve it by touching your palate right behind your teeth, with the front part of your tongue. You can practise with the English word 'cello'. 'Cz' is sharper than 'ć'. You can practise with the English word 'change.'

@@magdalenas9347 There are about 7 ways we pronounce Ę and as many ways we pronounce Ą depending on the word. Sometimes the same word can be pronounced in two ways. It's nowhere near as easy as she's trying to make it out to be. Search: „W śródgłosie wymowa samogłoski nosowej determinowana jest przez głoskę po niej następującą” tępy - tempy tędy - tendy pędzić - peńdzić wzięli - wzieli męka - [meŋka] kąt - kont sąd - sond ząb - zomb trąba - tromba rąbać - rombać mącić - mońcić Regular letters and digraphs are also pronounced differently: trzeba - tszeba warszawski - warszafski Co z tego - Co stego Dawid - Dawit

Oh, really? Technically speaking, you are right, but these differences do not practically matter. Even in different regions of Poland, people pronounce these sounds slightly differently. This has no effect on the meaning of the word.

@@magdalenas9347 I don't see any difference between the regions. We have two or three dialects that are dying out and that's it.

Well, I see. For example in some regions more people pronounce: 'om' at the end of words instead of 'ą'. But I don't see noticable differences, especially for foreigners, in your examples, such as: tępy - tempy tędy - tendy pędzić - peńdzić wzięli - wzieli męka - [meŋka]
