Brushes: 3/4 inch flat bristle, #2 and #8 round synthetic
Acrylic Paint: titanium white, mars black, phthalo green, ultra marine blue
Other: chalk, cup of water for washing brushes, paper towel for drying brushes

STEPS:
1. 3/4 inch bristle brush - Paint base coat with black
2. 3/4 inch bristle brush - Paint sky and water with blue, black, white, green
3. Chalk - Draw outline for whale
4. #8 round brush - Paint base coat for whale with black and white
5. #4 round brush - Finish whale with white, black, gray (made in step 4) and blue
6. 3/4 inch brush - Paint splash with gray, water color (made in step 2) and white
7. #4 round brush - Sign with water color

Bonjour Michelle, les whales très impressionnants. Ton thé paraît délicieux ! mais que fais tu pour avoir un fond aussi parfait ? Hi, I usually do not seal my paintings, because when acrylic paint fully cures, it is very durable. However, I do sometimes seal/varnish my paintings for esthetic purposes to bring all of the sheens together. I prefer to use a spray (Grumbacher or Golden) or liquid gloss (Liquitex) varnish. I hope this helps. Have fun painting.
