I would have appreciated your working the stitches more than once. Listening to your instructions and seeing you work the stitches a few times would have helped me a lot. I'm still in the dark on how to do this. Very frustrating.

Patty Gardner go back and watch it again. You can rewind any part you need over and over.

Watch a different video on doing just the blanket stitch edging. Then once you understand how to do that, come back to this video for the rest.

Why do you sew from left to right, but you crochet from right to left?

A lot more work , all you need is a skip stitch blade for your rotary tool. Single crochet in each whole and two singles and two chain and two single crochet in each corner.

When you do your slip stiches starting on the 3rd row you actuallty did 4.

Not able to follow . Poor directions on second row. After the 3 double crochet, u say to single crochet and leave it at that.
