My grandma finished a baby blanket this way for my mom when she was pregnant. My mom saved it in her hope chest and gave it to me when I was expecting. My neighbors dog took it out of my diaper bag and chewed a chunk of the edge off. Now I know how to repair it! Thank you!

WOW! Your crocheting tutorial was awesome! My mother used to do it ALL from 1953 forward, but always refused to teach me. I begged anyone I knew who crocheted to teach me, but we're always too busy. My grandmother crocheted around wash cloths each time she visited from Nebraska! Mom had everything ready for her. I so wanted to learn one day. Now that I have purchased a smart phone, I searched for help. Your video came up and I watched intensely. Guess What? Within minutes, I am crocheting around washcloths! Thank YOU my Lovely! I am 65 in September and have now found a way to pursue my passion. Love how you explain, demonstrate and go slowly. You are my new best friend! Thanks from Kathy, Enid, OK!!!

Hi Melanie , love the video, I have and embroidery machine, can I use the blanket stitch on that instead of doing it by hand? Thanks in advance

Loved your tutorial, very detailed and precise. I learned how to crochet when I was only 8-or-9 years old, but haven't since. Your video brought back very fond memories. Plus, I could not take my eyes off your lovely lips. What product and color are you wearing, it's gorgeous!

It's crazy when you see the final product I ALWAYS think I couldn't be able to do that.. And "beginner friendly" my tush lol. Then you see something that looks so nice and complicated it's actually very doable. These will make great Christmas gifts. I need to do them here within a couple of months. I just found out I'm PREGNANT!!! 😍😍😍😍 I won't have time with a newborn and a toddler to make fun gifts this Christmas of I put it off.

Nice video but I wish you would have said the spaces are different for different sizes of yarn when you FIRST made the dots bc someone who follows in order might dumbly some the entire blanket stitch all the way across wrong…if they are dumb and follow the video as they go and do not watch the whole thing beginning to end first.
