Learn Hangul 한글 (Korean Alphabet) in 30 minutes

받침 (final consonant) lesson: • All About 받침 (Batchim)...
(separate 받침 lesson is finally up!)
They say Hangul is easy, but Korean is hard... and as a native Korean speaker, I completely agree! But at least the alphabets are easy and that's great news for beginners, because you won't give up right from the start and that amazing sense of making progress will keep you going.
If you happen to have already learned hangul, but still struggling to read and write (not because you're stupid but it just doesn't register with you easily), then I also hope you find this video helpful :)
If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments below.
Thanks for following me, hope you found my class helpful, and do keep it up! 화이팅 (hwa i ting - it means cheers as an encouragement!)

Final consonant(Batchim / 받침) Lesson : kzread.info/dash/bejne/q3lq0piPZ7jWdbw.html Hello, guys! If you've just started learning Korean, you can check out the Korean courses on our website explorekorean.net The courses are free of charge, and we have all the lessons listed in the order you can take. You can start from the "Absolute Beginner" course. *One correction in the video: ㅌ's name is "티읕," and not "티긑." Strangely ㄷ's name is "디귿," so I thought ㅌ's name would work the same, but turns out it's not. It anyways has "t" sound, so it doesn't affect how you read/pronounce it :) 한국어 공부 화이팅! ^^ My best wishes on your studies.♥

As native Korean speaker, here are some tips: The most basic consonants that you have to remember are ㄱ,ㄴ,ㅁ,ㅅ,and ㅇ. Putting additional lines on these consonants create the rest. For example, adding two lines on ㅁ makes ㅂ. Also, Korean has a softer sound than English, so '나비' is not the exactly same sound as nabi

Just a few tips + words of encouragement for everyone !! Studying checklist: Two pens Sometimes when studying, our pens run out or break! Its better to have a few handy just in case. A pencil Pencils are awesome and great lifesavers when you’re trying to practice or perfect something your still learning. An eraser The erasers on pencils are quite small, so try to have an extra eraser at hand to erase mistakes. paper/a spare notebook To jot down everything you’re learning! Water Always stay hydrated when you’re studying! It helps you have better focus. Take a sip of water every 5-10 minutes. highlighter This isn’t as important, but its always awesome to highlight some important things you might come back to later on. Keep in mind, you don’t need all of these things to be able to study well! Just a pen, pencil, paper and a determined mindset is a great start! Studying tips! : While studying, listen to some soft background music. (without words!) Turn off any distractions such as phones or tv’s . Make some tea or warm some milk to sip on while studying! (I recommend non-caffeinated drinks. Also, try putting it in a sealed bottle or something of the such so it doesn’t spill.) Get a focus timer! Munch on a few healthy snacks like fruits or small candies. Take breaks every 30-40 minutes. But don’t let your breaks be longer than 10 minutes as it can distract you from your work. Find a study buddy! (pet, friend, parent or maybe just the spider in your room :,D) Music recommendations: Lofi Girl Shiloh K-Pop Piano Instrumental Music K-Radio App recommendations for: KOREAN 1 Eggbun 2 Learn Korean 3 Write it! korean 4 Hey Korea 5 I SPEAK App recommendations for: STUDY TIMERS 1 Study Bunny 2 Forest 3 Flip 4 Focus Dog 5 Pomodoro Timer App/Website recommendation for: STUDY BUDDIES 1 Bindr 2 StuddyBuddy 3 Study Buddy Guru 4 My Korean Teacher 5 Librari: The Studdy Buddy App Best Books for Learning Korean! : 1 Ehwa Korean 1-1 2 Elementary Korean 3 Korean Picture Dictionary 4 Easy To Learn Korean 5 My first 500 words (Korean) Motivation : Thank you guys for coming this far into this comment! I just want to remind you that as long as you put your mind to it and try your best to not give up, You have the best chance at succeeding in whatever you’re trying to learn whether it be Korean, Math, Science, English, or anything! There are many opportunities for you to become better, its just up to you. Don’t let a bad mindset keep you from achieving your dreams. I believe in you :) ! ~random person that also wants to learn korean.

As a Spanish speaker, those double consonants are easy and I'm glad you used Spanish to help convey the proper sound. For those who have trouble with it, Spanish consonants are much lighter than English. Instead of pronouncing a hard "t", just lightly tap it to the roof of your mouth, not committing too hard to the sound. Same with the other consonants, keep them light and don't commit to them so hard.

Wow ! This is one of the best Hangul videos I have found on the internet yet so far! You explain things like I do ! With examples and make it easy to remember by comparing it with something giving it a symbol like landmarks are to driving to remember directions ! Great work! I really enjoyed this video !

I have been watching many koren language learning videos and i must say your way of teaching hangal is the best- easy to follow and motivates us to practice. Its really well structured and great for a raw biggner. You are teaching us to read and write meaningful words along with the basic- so it makes me feel motivated and confident. It also feels so easy to learn. Thankyou and do keep it going. Looking forward to going through all the lessons with you.

Thanks for such a well-made an informative video! I'm Polish, but I've started to learn English from when I was about 10 years old. Currently I should be on C1-C2 of this language, but I decided that studying linguistics is my best shot at creating a career, since I'm good at mimicking and repeating difficult words, no matter the sound. I tried to inform myself first about what 3rd language would be the most beneficial for me in the future, but it was so hard to decide whether it should be Spanish, German, or even French. In the end, one of my friends told me to pick up Korean, and that's when I decided to do exactly that! Now I'm studying it for the total of three consecutive days, and I hope I won't ever burn down, or if I do, I'll be able to keep up the streak, for it is extremely important to stay consistent! haha I have about two years before my high school examination, so I have exactly that to learn another language, so it can be easier for me in the future. I hope anyone reading this will keep up with their dreams and overcomes their struggles, Keep Fighting!!

I’m trying my best to learn korean, it’s my dream honestly. Ive always been such a fan of their culture, i just never really had the time nor motivation. Just now lately ive been starting to get motivated and working my butt off because of a few things: 1. Ive always admired the language, i myself am also a fan of Korean Pop music! My favourite groups are Stray Kids and ITZY 2. I’m planning to go to Korea when i grow up so learning the language is a must. 3. Learning languages is so fun to me, some people might consider it stressful and I can’t argue towards that, infact i agree. But i believe i can make it. Thank you so much for this! This made me remember words way better and gave me a base to learn hangul. ❤️
