Learn English With Your Eyes Closed!

Learning English by watching videos is a great idea. In fact, watching a video a second time can really help you remember what is being taught. Did you know that listening to a video (yes listening!) to a video for a third time can really help strengthen your ability to learn English?
In this English lesson I'll talk about all of the visual cues you will see when watching a video, and I'll talk a bit about how you can really challenge yourself when learning English by simply listening to a video with your eye closed, or while doing something else. This technique will really help you to understand English speakers when you can't quite see their mouths, or when they are using facial expressions or body language to emphasize what they are saying.
I hope you enjoy this English lesson and I hope you take some time to listen to it with your eyes closed! In fact here is a challenge for you. Watch the video twice today, and then listen to it tomorrow!
Have a great day!
--
⌛ Remember: Always watch the English lesson multiple times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with your eyes closed! This will reinforce the English you have learned!

Watch twice, listen, and then try listening and writing down what you hear at the same time. Not for the whole video, just for the first minute or so. Then watch the video again and correct your spellings. I have been doing this twice a week since March 2021. You know what? It works! Thanks Bob!

I use your videos in many ways, specially with the short English lessons, I watch the new viedo one time and then let run the longest play list you have (about 600 videos) usually while I'm doing the dishes Sometimes I change the speed of the videos and shadow what you are saying. When I got bored, I randomized the list and refresh the old lessons

Here is a tip to try to scape the "boring situation" of repeating the same video for three times in a row. Instead of watching the same video, I try to train the vocabulary during the video, as much as I can (rewinding, pausing, etc), and then, going to other videos. I never watch more than enough time a single video. If I watched and think I got the content, I just jump to another content, that is the secret. And inevitably, before you perceive, you're going to see that the words that you've learned some minutes ago are going to pop up in front of you many times as you watch other contents. That is my technique to practice, without the "boring repetition experience part".
