8 Mean English Phrases You Should Never Say!

It's good to learn all kinds of English phrases. It's good to learn nice English phrases so that you can use them to say nice things. It's good to learn mean English phrases so that you can recognize and understand them when you read them or hear them. You should, however, never say these phrases. I'm sure you're just too nice of a person to do that.
In this English lesson we'll look at phrases like: You'll never amount to anything! You suck! You're just like your father!
We'll also look at mean questions like: Why can't you be more like your brother? or Why can't you be more like your cousin?
All in all, these are great phrases to learn but not great phrases to use. I'm happy to help you learn them anyways!
I hope you enjoyed this English lesson about phrases you should never use!
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

I haven't run into these mean phrases in movies or TV shows so far. I might've used the phrase"Move over, let me do it." when my kids have trouble doing something. I didn't mean to insult them. I just wanted to help them😱 From now, I'll say "Let's do it together!" "Do you want me to help you?" something like that😀 Cool lesson, You rock.😁

To the best of my memory, I had heard them saying to me 'the mean phrases' a little bit more often than the happy or nice ones in life, so for my part I can say that it was a big problem for me to struggle with those discouraging words 😞, but in the meantime I don't remember someone telling me some nice and encouraging words, such as "you should just be you" or "I'm sure you'll do better next time" .... ; and therefore, I think it would've been better if a couple of people around me had given me a little bit of encouragement ....🤔 😅, but well .... now that's quite all right with me because now I'm hearing Mr. Bob telling me/ us a little bit of encouragement, and thus I'm feeling relieved as well as happy, good .... 😊😃😀😄😁😌

Thank you very much, Bob, for stopping me to tell a certain person: "You're just like your father." At least now we know what it means. Don't quit this, Bob, for you are an excellent teacher and friend. Please have a nice day today. ©® March 30, 2022 @ 8:45 am ©®

Hello Bob, greeting from Ukraine and thank you very much for your useful lessons. Of course , sometimes I’m difficult to understand your speech because my listening is worse than writing. I know I need to work hard with it. I wish you a nice day
