I learned plenty of words and phrasal verbs in this lesson. And I am really grateful to you guys for your hard work in creating such qualitative and highly educative content for English learners! ❤❤❤ Plus for better memorization of all this new vocabulary I decided to create a couple of sentences that tell a short story: "The teacher popped in the classroom imminently after the bell had rung. He looked like an everymen almost as any teacher at this school. Before kicking off the lesson he decided to put down every student who was either absent or present today."

As a Japanese, I learn English with Mario who is Italian but Japanese game character !
Next time, I will prepare a notebook in advance before you kick things off and put down your lesson. It fills me with nostalgia about childhood, when we used to put down lectures by teachers imminently.
To kick off this comment, I want to say that Mario was a pillar to my childhood, I grew up playing this game all day and also my father did it. Thank you for the lesson.

Hey Maria, thanks for writing. Learning is an adventure INDEED! Thank YOU for learning with us. We really appreciate it!
For listening ,this video is amazing!
I finally got to know the word "bud" is an informal word for "buddy". The new word for me is "imminently", I usually use words like soon, going to, and immediately to express the thing that is going to happen. I'm glad to know this one! For "Nostalgia" is a bit difficult for me to recognize in listening. Last but not least, the word "pitch", I have no idea about this word, it's like I thought it meant to pinch something XD good to know it can represent persuading someone, throwing things, and the degree of highness or lowness of a sound.
I learned new words and phrasal verbs in this lesson. I really liked it,thank you.
I am so grateful to meet this channel in my life 😢, thanks to everybody
