Spring had sprung, t'was mid April I bent over the window sill; In the midst of the plants hardy, Grass had grown, nearly as lengthy As the cranesbills and daffodils! Inside a springy voice I heard And I was feeling green-fingered Conditions couldn't be milder: Twas time playing the lawnmower! f. 😘🌹❤ Mow - window sill - conditions - hardy - green-fingered. The story was so lovely and moving and so beautifully told! Thanks Anna! 😊🙏👏

I'm not a green fingered at all. However I've grown my plant of basil for six years. Now that I'm moving country I'm going to leave it ti ny friend. I hope she's a green fingered. She has some nice plants on her window sill. Those plants have to be quite hardy to be able to tackle boiling hot weather conditions here in Malta.

Green fingered is an adjective not a noun, so you don’t need an article. “I’m not green fingered at all.”

I would also swap TACKLE for WITHSTAND when talking about temperature. “We can withstand the cold IF we wear the right clothes.” Tackle suggests that something needs to be beaten rather than survived.

Like a tree in the city I was born in the concrete Stuck between two grey houses Homeless, without sanctuary Like a tree in the city Like a tree in the city I grew up far from forests Where my wild sylvan brothers Have started a family Like a tree in the city Between concrete and bitumen To grow I strive and I struggle But my boughs are flying low So close to the smoking cars Between bitumen and asphalt Like a tree in the city I have smokes of factories For a prison, and my choked roots They overlay them with grids Like a tree in the city Like a tree in the city I have songs upon my leaves That will fly off under the eye Of yer slavish windows sills Like a tree in the city Between bitumen and concrete I will be torn off of the streets So they be built where I lived Postumous-honored parkings Between bitumen and concrete Like a tree in the city O Friend, make after I die Barricades from my body And some fire from my twigs ... Like a tree in the city. Maxime Leforestier (+fab) 😘🌹❤❤❤🌳 kzread.info/dash/bejne/laB42s1ph8uTXZc.html
