Learn English as I Give a Tour of Our Flower Farm!
Each year around this time I like to create an English lesson about flowers and plants. I like to make this lesson because I live on a flower farm. Jen and I have been growing flowers for many years, and it is fun to combine my farming job with my English teaching on KZread.
🌻🌼💐 Jen has a KZread channel too! Come and see: / @myflowerfarm
In this lesson I will give you a tour of the farm and I will teach you some English words and phrases about plants and flowers. You'll learn words like pruners and germinate, and you'll learn English phrases like, "harvest the flowers" and "transplanting the flowers".
I hope you enjoy this tour of the farm and I hope that you are able to learn a little bit of English along the way!
Have a great day!
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

Drip line, zinnias, and lisianthus...new words for me. At one point, I was thinking your water bill must be so expensive some months. That's great you can use the river for water. Your flower cooler must smell incredible. Great video.

Dripline is really amazing. It waters very slowly and almost 100% of the water goes to the plant. Overhead watering is quite wasteful, especially if it is really windy and sunny as a lot of the water can simply evaporate. We can't always drip irrigate, but I would say almost 80% of the time we drip. If we can't for some reason we use the sprinklers. 🌼🌻🌷

I started studying English with online classes and taking notes in 2022 on October, and one day i discovered you channel. I want to live in Canada one day, and when I am watching your videos I can kinda ''feel'' how is a life in Canada (or at least a part of it).
