The video lessons are short and simple, so you can start even if you have only 15 extra minutes a day.
They are similar to my free KZread videos, but the courses have structured and organized video lessons, e-books and quizzes for practicing after each video lesson. They're awesome and if you are considering enrolling, you definetely should! These courses are perfect for beginner learners who are looking to have the best experience in Croatia!

I have been teaching Croatian for English and Spanish speakers for several years, and through that experience have created a simple, fun, and effective way of learning the language, for children, as well as for adults.
Languages are important and they are one of my passions, so I really enjoy teaching and sharing that knowledge.
That is also the reason why I include a short Croatian lesson in most of my KZread videos, so feel free to binge-watch them to learn some new Croatian words and expressions.

    Love your teaching, thanks for the background info too. It's rather disturbing to see the harsh comments from since people, it reminds me of how things must have been back in my father-in-laws days back in Croatia. (Around Split) Listening to many of his stories and that of friends and family friends just how much hatred read bred into your cultures. Very sad. I'm British, Scottish and Irish, Australian born, 3rd generation. Never have i every witnessed such anger fair others until i meet my wife's side of the world. 🥺

    Interesting language lesson with fascinating information behind the origins of the words. I greatly appreciate how you have promoted Croatian language and culture! I feel so sad that my great grandparents thought they were Austrians, as they had maybe forgotten who they were, being Hapsburg subjects, but now people like you are bringing Croatia back to life like a digital renaissance! Thank you so much Sanda! 🙏

    Bok Kris! Thank you for taking the time to share a bit more about your thoughts and family background. I am pretty sure your great grandparents identified more with their local Croatian traditions and the language.... don't worry. I am happy to know you enjoy these videos and find them useful.

    @@CroatianExperiencewithSanda Yes, wonderful videos! You may be right, yet I never once heard my grandparents ever once mention Croatia in the 40 years I knew them. Amazingly the family once lived in the Visnjevica and Krasica regions, so it’s a mystery to me. Appreciate your kind reply.

    Bok! Let me tell you an interesting thing, in brazilian portuguese we use to say CIAO, to say bye, like italians too. Many families in Brazil (including mine) are italians descendents. The writing, however, is different, we write it TCHAU.....kind of strange..kkk, but the pronunciation is quite de same. Tchau!! até mais!!! (Bye!! See you!!)

    Zdravo is not used so often, because "zdravo druze" was a popular Komunist greetings. Nothing to do with zdravo Mariijo, who they forbid in their vokabulary.

  • @philomy6127
    @philomy61275 ай бұрын

    Zašto držite komentare od pojedinaca sa srpskom zastavom koji žele time naglasit da je njihov pozdrav?! Zašto učite ljude pogrešno?! Pozdrav "zdravo" se 7 Hrvatskoj koristi samo u starim molitvama i pjesmama. Vi trebate poučavat ljude književni jezik onako kako se uče u školi tri osnovna izraza za pozdrav, a to su: 'Dobro jutro', 'Dobar dan' i 'Dobra večer', a ne da vi ljide upoznajete s uličnim žargonima diljem Hrvatske! Hrvatski izraz je 'pozdrav', a ne 'zdravo' i tako je službeno zapisano u literaturama! A ljudi će sami naučit lokalne izraze.... Samo kad vidim da agresori ovdje veličaju i prisvajaju taj pozdrav, a da vi ne reagirate, kosa mi se diže na glavi. U službenim literaturama hrvatskog jezika imate zapisane službene izraze za pozdrave, a ne možete vi učit ljude po vlastitom nahođenju i onako kako vama odgovara, jer to nije ispravno!!! Zašto učite ljude srpski jezik?! Jeste l8 svjesni da toga koga učite sutra mogu napasti u Hrvatskoj zbog toga pozdrava?! Napadaju i ovako Filipince, a još to da govore...🙈🙈🙈

    Correct say is "BOG", kako Si, kamo ides(h), jesi li dobro, e.t.c.. Bok means Hip, nothing to do with Hi, Halo, or By. Former Yugoslavia Communist, and many remnants forbid in their vokabulary to use "BOG" (GOD). It is sad, that after Croatian 15,000 young fighters lost their Lives in a War 1990-1995. Fighting against Communist Yugoslav Army with Serbian Chetniks, and Serbian President Milosevic trying to expand Serbian land occupying Croatia. Even today their off springs are pushing the word bok (Croatian 'hip"), instead "BOG" (GOD). with all the attributes.
