Singlehandedly one of the best videos on IPv6 I've ever seen. Wow. Thanks! :)
I used to say to my students that Einstein said, " if you cannot explain it simply, are you sure you really understand it?" you guys are best att explaining it simply. IM PART OF YOUR COMMUNITY. THANX FOR SHARING KNOWLEDGE
Great video, I love the high level explanation and background as to why IPv6 was created. Thanks!

Great work...you have just made me a genius with this presentation..i now have a solid foundation..
22:38 I would dispute this statement. I have on my router on wan interface multiple IPv4 addresses and Router is doing NAT forwarding. P.S: Nope. Its 2020 and still most of the world is running IPv4
Hi thanks for video and i just want to ask you if i have ipv6 will i notice any faster data transfer . I mean like if i browse internet and download and stream videos , is there any speed difference than ipv4 . Thanks 😁😁😁😁

Whoa it can’t be a coincidence that ipv6 was officially launched on 6/6 (666)

Feb 2023: ~43% ... Also a question: You never explained what % mean within the addresses for example at 23:34 your Link Local is: * :: * : * : * :692d%3
We can assign multiple ipv4 addresses to a single interface.

Yes on routers using sub-interfaces

@@johnapple4981 you can also add VIPs to interfaces as well. In windows, I'm pretty sure you can do this in network adapter properties pretty easily. VIPs (to my knowledge) don't require sub interfaces, but rather just reply to ARP requests for either address. Could be wrong though, kinda a newbie
IPv6 is not really separate from IPv4. It's being tunneled to IPv4 via MPLS/SR segment routing.
Well, it's May 2021 and the world is at 37% according to Google. So, we're going too slow. I'm ready to abandon IPv4 ASAP. The US government being one of the worst offenders, they are still working on 1997 and 2001 memos.
Hello from 2121, still no. :(
