yes ive been looking at equinox's for a week we did pick up 2020 LT . Was real tempted on RS awd 2023 brand new 34K!!

Thank you. Very comprehensive video. I had a 2018 Equinox LT 2.0ltr which was totaled by an elderly driver passing out and crossing into my lane a few months ago. I loved the car and wanted to replace it with another Equinox. I found a 2018 2.0ltr Premier which I now drive. It's nice to see that the standard LS models now have some of the bells and whistles that came with the Premier models a few years ago. Also, I use a fix as an alternative to the auto-stop feature. I put the car in the highest gear in low to prevent the motor from stopping. In mine is L9, in the 2.5ltr models, L6.

Very helpful video! I just purchased a 2021 Equinox and love it, but I can’t figure out how to show total mileage. I’ve flipped through the menus and see trip menus, but not the total mileage of the vehicle. Where is that located?

Kevin, I have a 2020 Premier & have lots of problems with infotainment system & other problems, even when the engineers came to look at it they couldn't figure out why my the car shuts my ringer off when I leave the car every single time. I have to manually remember, "oh ya, I was in my car, I need to turn my ringer back on." Also, I have it set for when I remote start my car my heated seats are supposed to automatically come on but that doesn't work either. Have you heard of these things and/or have input how to fix them? Loved your video

So I did the push to start with the key and it doesn’t actually start my vehicle up! It turns on but doesn’t start up? I still have to get into the car and use push to start button to actually turn the car on and running. So how’s that work?

you can only pair one setting preference with each key fob. if there is a secondary driver with only one key ypu could program the second memory position. when you enter the vehicle you would have to push and hold the #2 to move to that position.

How do you open the sunglass holder overhead? 😂

I just bought a used 2020 and it came with this radio is there a way to upgrade it to the newer HD radio?

Possible, but not likely worth the expense. In Ontario we use a third party electronics company for our factory radios. The current radio has little to no resale value, and the replacement HD, if available could be the the $1,000 range. If interested best to contact your service department for availability and cost. If upgrading you may also want to look at a unit with navigation. If you are spending the time, might as well get everything you want.

Where is the weather. I had it,done remember where it was. Since my recent oil change I don't see it.

Is there a way to default Lane Departure Assist to off? Or do I just have to keep turning it off whenever I drive off?

once it is turned off it should remain off, at least for Canadian vehicles

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by exiting. I click all the way to the left to get back to my home screen

My wife just bought a 2021 Equinox. I do not get how to use the emergency key in the key fob when the battery goes dead.

They key in the fob is only there to open the door. Once the door is open you can open the hood and jump start the vehicle. If you are talking about the remote battery being dead, there is a pocket listed in the owners manual. I believe it is the cup holder in this vehicle. Place the remote there as it is right on top of the antenna. The vehicle could recognize the fob and allow the vehicle to start

What about the trunk is their a button for it inside the car I can’t seem to find it

If you have a power tailgate, the button is located on the driver door, or the center part of the roof, above the rear view mirror. If you are looking for an unlock button for a manual tailgate the tailgate locks and unlocks with the driver door lock.

I thought that this car told you what temperature is it outside??

My remote doesn’t have the circle button to remote start it. Am I still able to ?

You will need the remote start button in your remote to have it work. For some vehicles this can be added by the dealer.

I accidentally turned off the display mode, can you tell me how to turn it back on.

Assuming you are talking about the display in the DIC (where you see your digital speedometer), use the up and down buttons on the right side of the steering wheel.

Fog lights are standard on all trims except the base, which he is showing off here.

How can I add more apps to the infotainment screen? I want to add navigation to the car and not use my phone all the time or add apps too. I have a 2020 chevrolet equinox and I can't figure this out.

some radios will have an app store, however there are very few apps available, and navigation is not one of them. The best way to access maps on your Equinox would be though apple car play and android auto.

So no Eco button anymore
