We just bought a used one. My old Equinox saved my daughter's and my life when a log truck hit us. We survived but the car was totaled. This is a great vehicle. We haven't tried all the options yet, but are looking forward to finding them.

You can pick up a fully loaded 2019, 2.0 Premier version for $10K off (26-29K). That's a deal for a starting family looking for some more space and makes it competitive with the loaded CR-V. It's such a competitive space that people will likely be swayed by their personal opinions on exterior and interior design alone.

Gas mileage is really nice too. I would recommend this to anyone

I contour on all things said. I just took delivery a few days ago of a 2019 Equinox LT highly optioned with the standard 1.5 turbo charged engine and am really satisfied with its ride, comfort, handling and performance. On one trip of combined driving of approx fifty miles it registered 36 mpg. This was at highway speeds of 70 mph freeway driving, 60 mph on two lane country roads and some city miles as well. It only has about 180 miles on it so far. Ours is the Pacific Blue with the light grey interior. I’m glad I beat the price increase as well. Our MSRP was right at $32,000. With all rebates it was a little over $25,000.00. Great deal! One of the pluses is all the leg room both front and rear. The rear leg room comes at a small loss in rear cargo area, but I’d rather have more leg room for those in the rear seats.

Ive had a good experience with GM. Especially Buick. I think this is a good looking crossover. The Premier with the 2.0T is very nice. But for the price there are all of other vehicles to shop. If this vehicle was a tad less expensive, had a AWD lock, and also got rid of the stop&start nonsense I would put this vehicle on the top of my list.

Great review! Test drove the 2020 a few days ago.. didnt mind having cloth but the 1.5L LT trim engine felt pretty underwhelming. Hopped in a 2.0L Premier and felt the difference immediately didn't even have to leave the lot.. purchased it immediately. Between the better engine, larger/flush touchscreen, and the leather just to name a few of my pro's I'd highly recommend the Premier. Love the interior too which seems to be where most negative reviews are on this vehicle. The touchscreen is slanted a tad more than some may like, but its never been a problem to see or reach, plus you've got mostly everything on the wheel to adjust the basics. Think I ended up paying about $28-29K for it new.

Nice review. thye of course don't tell you the downside of the Equinox. Seating position is ackward. Pedals too close to driver, seat bottom is short. Audio system is poor as the screen reflects sunlight into the eye balls, hards to see in a sunny day. Base audio system needs upgrading. The underbody is one the least covered giving no protection to parts. Exposed metal pieces. Only to be driven in states like California of Florida where there's no snow. Also the underside is very prone to corrosion. A leap forward for the current Equinox, but it's advisable to get an extended warranty. Get the 2.0 litter engine.

I was all good until about 9:15 in the video. What in the world is going on with that wireless charging pad area?? Its sides are sticking out - It looks terrible. It almost looks like the sides have popped out. Really a shame to see that in what is otherwise a pretty great looking cabin.

Work on vehicles for a living hope this next group is better because the 3.6 and much of the vehicles are a piece of crap. About 50 to 60,000 miles modules, engine front end, transmission and other components fail .Timing chain ,oil leaks and oil consumption. They had a lot to fix. The Chevy dealership stays full alot of transmission issues and electronic issues.

Cute car but considerably inferior to Asian and European competitors in build quality, and performance. Rarely do you see a video review like this, and they are afraid to show you the engine compartment. This and the GM Terrain are getting better but still remain down the list especially when compared to Honda and Toyota.
