Another amazing lesson, teacher.
Thank you very much, Gill.
When was reading Mr. Mencken’s book on “The American Language”, it was remarked by some that “just”, when used as an adverb, should be considered as a slang. Instead of saying “I know JUST a little,” for example, we should say “I know BUT a little.”
I love you :') you're the best professor ever. Thank you for all your hard work.
Dear Ma'am Gill, I was watching one of your earlier videos on Homonyms that is the word with a same pronounciation but a different meaning.l have enjoyed the lesson thoroughly ! The words hole, whole ; male, mail ; threw, through ; one,won ; were quite interesting ! I would like to add three more words to this list : herd, heard ; gait, gate ; weather, whether ! Thank you so much ! 😃

I was just thinking at the touch of Love everyone becomes a poet.❤❤❤❤
Useful class and a good pronunciation
Greetings, Gil, from California! In the past I mentioned "just now", which I would've thought was a candidate for a list such as this. I have spoken of once having been married into a wonderful, large British family. This is where I learnt the term, just now. It has long amused me that this term is SO useful, referring to the past, present and future. All discernable by context. Or -- does "just now" merit a lesson of its' own?
Thanks for your effort
Thanks a lot Madame 🌿 ☘️ 🍀
Thanks a lot for cool lesson!))
Hello, Jill. Thank you for this interesting lesson. Could you please make a video on the letter « O » pronunciation in different words.(especially in open syllables). It’s so interesting to know how native English speakers pronounce it.
