    Many of these contractions are quite rare in every day english. Focus on these contractions instead: “they’re”, “it’s”, “couldn’t”, “wasn’t”, “weren’t”. They’re going to the mall today. It’s a beautiful day out today. I couldn’t go with them to the mall. I wasn’t at the mall earlier. You weren’t at the mall earlier.
