@@FishatDT I agree with you, wasn’t being that guy in the comments that feels the need to defend someone who is more than capable of doing that themselves. I don’t support anyone who doesn’t support our troops and a foreigner saying that someone whom didn’t serve their country stole valor. That’s what really upset me. Anyway you do you. What I like most about your videos is your legitimate knowledge of what you're teaching/showing. I am not at your skill level but feel based on the knowledge that I do have and my ability to utilize what I do know that your videos add another layer to my skill set. I also really appreciate when you clearly explain that these are more advanced skills, but then just show how to do them. I learn by watching, not so much listening or reading. In example, the rope spinning segment didn't make sense to me UNTIL you showed how to build it and furthermore demonstrated it. Keep producing informational videos, they lend themselves greatly to a world that seems to be getting exponentially less capable. Be well, and Happy New Year!

This nails it exactly. Survival is a mindset. Seeing what resources are available to you and how to use the resources. I remember watching the videos of the guy who lived in Alaska by himself (Dick Preneke, Alone in the Wilderness). Watching him build his cabin was mind blowing.

Thank you sir for sharing your time and knowledge. As other commenters have said, survival is dependent on the calm belief that any challenge can be overcome. As a mechanic for 40 years I look at something not working as it's already broke, so the worst I can do is fix it and if I'm not careful might learn something along the way.

Wow I'm astounded at your teaching I subscribed and will continue to watch all your videos , in the hiking club in Junior high we learned a lot about desert survival and we hiked all over the place in Arizona our last hike was the Grand canyon however we had modern camp gear freeze dried food and little gas stoves my pack was 53lbs going in, that was 44 years ago but these skills you teach are like early American settlers and Indians used very very impressive. Thank you so much for making these videos.
