This leap is... underwhelming. Stigmata is already powerful and this leap, as far as I can see, didn't introduce major gameplay change. It's not a leap but more like a small jump. Just a little optimize to make her deal damage better. The only thing why this leap make sense is this : a 3rd gen physical attacker is underway. If that's the case, then it's more of a PR move to alleviate some power crept backlash.

Nah, they are definitely prolonging their service time. Vera garnet is currently the oldest unit but they chose to leap her beforehand and powercreep Lee. And this is because the recently leaped units are fan-favorites with high-revenues on their banners. You are right that it's a PR move to alleviate backlash, but 3rd gen Physical attacker? Maybe not. They are more likely to release a new Dark Amp considering they didn't leap Selena.

she really isnt powerful at all in CN. and even in global, i'm feeling the effects of her lower power. i have SSS, SSS luminance, SSS rosetta. full hypertune and signature, 3 resonances and perfect memory resonances. she is just the gap fill between hanying's downtime along with alisa. this makes her do much more damage

She gets a clone that does a sword wave combo with her during her aerial combo. And there's a new ground combo after the slam attack in sword form if you don't go immediately back into aerial form after the first time. Doing the new ground combo stacks up her Signature multiplier past 99 up to a maximum of 150. Each point in the multiplier is 6% more damage to her Signature move, so they doubled her Signature move buff. And then there's some sort of lamp thing on screen that I can't tell the effect of, but the number next to it went up every time she did her Core finger snap Matrix, so something else happens there.

Kind of a badly designed leap from the looks of it Basically made her launcher irrelevant She's stronger now but it doesnt feel like she's any more interesting to play. Before you ult, launcher, basic, ult. Now you ult, basic, leap basic, ult. Gameplay wise this design isn't great

Yeah, they could just simplify the aerial slash (like timestop continuous slash, then snap the finger to release all at once) and make the meter charge faster. *They just make her take longer to press ulti again instead😅😅😅

​​@@endarion88172From what i noticed, that leap combo also consumes the stack balter used for her aerial slash. They just replace aerial with this leap combo to make it faster. At what cost? The wasted because aerial slash does not contribute to the meter anymore after 99 (you can just skip with the new leap combo for faster charge up). That is the reason why i also agree that this leap is badly designed. Useful for war zones but not in the boss fight. SSS benefit more from this leap because you can get the meter charge faster (i think that instant 150 you mention is from SSS current passive) so SS still meh. You still need to charge the meter at the cost of losing . Unless they make this leap combo deal better dmg and have short duration. Edited: i think Rex also said that full rotation is not relevant because it takes a lot of time. So most people will just skip that aerial combo.

​@@farhangg7070To charge past 100 fast you need 3 stack under that combo bar. Which you don't have enough orb to get 3 stack unless you over Ping her orb in matrix. Combo is now Ult, aerial, Ult again, Ult, Leap, Ult. Repeat

is not great but the gamplay in this video is kinda wrong, also something is unlcrear with the leap, i saw other streamers do only the new combo avoiding the aerial sword dance, and sometimes it instantly gave 150 stacks sometimes only 128, guess we have to wait the description translation as to why this happen, but i think the point is that people should aim for that instant 150

​@@endarion88172 i think its when you do her dodge you have to ping like your life depends on it and it stacks on the bar in corner once you reach 3 stacks of this you activate ult and to the combo it should instantly get you to 150

kinda boring leap... hmm.. multiple dashes midair but thats useless cause she already has , that just a dmg increase and animation improvement which is boring, no gameplay mechanics.. new sword stance when you are near 2nd ult.. no one will use that, we will just ult and rinse and repeat.. unless the dmg improvement is too strong.. but still ultimate has timestop, the new sword stance has NO TIMESTOP, so it is useless..

You had all of this based on watching a 2 minutes video and assume her Leap is be all end all. Without playing, how do you know that to be able to use her Leap, you need to do normal Aerial combo anyway other wise the Leap wouldn't be maximise. It ain't replacing anything, it's bonus on top of theirs base kit, which is what Leap for anyway.

@@redace4821 wrong on so many accounts.. if you know how to use balter efficiently, timestop is everything in terms of DPS, ANY unit with no timestop falls off, even Rexlent brimself said Balter leap is meh.. and we have also tried her leap in CN beta.. dont go assuming that all this "observation" is all based on watching this video.. if you assume that then you are as brainless as trash.. and worth nothing..
